Comrade Trinh Viet Hung holds the position of Secretary of Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee.

Comrade Nguyen Quang Duong, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Organization Commission, announced Decision No. 1369-QDNS/TW, dated July 12, 2024 of the Politburo on approving the position of Secretary of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term for Comrade Trinh Viet Hung, alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Thai Nguyen Provincial People's Committee.

Presenting the Politburo's decision, congratulating comrade Trinh Viet Hung and speaking at the ceremony, comrade Le Minh Hung emphasized that the new Secretary of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee is a young cadre, well-trained; matured from the grassroots, experienced in many key leadership positions. In all working positions, he upholds the sense of responsibility, strives hard, dares to think, dares to do, completes well all assigned tasks, and is trusted by the Politburo and assigned new responsibilities.

Comrade Le Minh Hung suggested that, as the head of the Provincial Party Committee, Comrade Trinh Viet Hung continue to be the center of solidarity and unity, focusing on leading the construction of Thai Nguyen province to achieve even greater achievements in socio-economics; national defense and security; Party building and political system building.

The Head of the Central Organizing Committee was impressed with the indicators of investment attraction, especially foreign direct investment attraction; digital transformation of Thai Nguyen province has a high ranking in the country. Thai Nguyen province needs to continue to do a good job in implementing planning, promoting advantages to boost socio-economic development; clearly demonstrating its role as the economic center of the northern midland and mountainous region, an important growth pole of the Hanoi capital region.

Focusing on implementing well the work of Party building, building a clean and strong political system from the grassroots; organizing well the Party Congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term, focusing on building long-term strategies and visions for development, this is one of the requirements of the Central Committee in the coming term.

Speaking at the ceremony to accept the assignment, comrade Trinh Viet Hung thanked the Politburo and the Secretariat for entrusting him with the new assignment. As the head of the provincial Party Committee, he is deeply aware that this is an honor and at the same time a great responsibility before the Central Executive Committee of the Party, the Politburo, the Party Committee, the Government and the people of all ethnic groups in Thai Nguyen province.

He promised to constantly cultivate, study, strive, practice, promote the role and responsibility of the head of the Party Committee, fulfill the responsibility of setting an example for cadres and Party members; together with the Standing Committee, the Standing Committee, and the Provincial Party Committee Executive Committee, continue to promote the tradition of solidarity, strictly implement the Party's principles; inherit the achievements and lessons learned through the terms of the Provincial Party Committee Executive Committee to continue to develop Thai Nguyen.

On this occasion, comrade Le Minh Hung and the Central and Thai Nguyen Provincial delegations offered incense at the historical site of 60 martyrs of the 915th Youth Volunteer Company, 91st Bac Thai Team and the Traditional House in the Provincial Party Committee campus.
