Welcoming more than 49,000 visitors to the Provincial Museum

BTO-In the first quarter of 2024, the Provincial Museum welcomed 49,015 visitors to visit and learn about culture and history (reaching 28.7%), including 1,902 international visitors. At the museum's 4 destinations, the Po Sah Inư tower relic had the largest number of visitors with 38,000.

Along with that, the activities of displaying, collecting and inventorying artifacts at the museum continue to be implemented with 2 exhibitions and photo exhibitions on "Typical cultural relics and festivals of Binh Thuan province" and "Land and people of Binh Thuan"; organizing 45 performances of Cham folk art, traditional craft performances, sand painting art on the occasion of the Lunar New Year of Giap Thin 2024.

Also during this time, the Provincial Museum implemented the Provincial People's Committee's plan on managing, protecting and promoting the value of the national treasure Golden Linga. Coordinated with Tuy Phong District People's Committee to organize a ceremony to receive the certificate of ranking the General Secretary Le Duan Memorial House. At the same time, the Provincial Museum surveyed, inspected and collected archaeological sites at a number of locations in Ham Thuan Bac, Ham Thuan Nam, Phan Thiet, resulting in the discovery of 17 artifacts.
