According to the Decision, 14 internal administrative procedures in 4 areas in the State administrative system under the management of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism will be simplified.
In the field of cultural heritage, simplify 4 internal administrative procedures:
1- Procedures for sending national treasures abroad to serve state-level foreign affairs activities;
2- Procedures for bringing national treasures from specialized museums abroad under international cooperation programs to introduce and promote the history, culture, country and people of Vietnam;
3- Procedures for bringing national treasures that are being protected and have their value promoted at relics managed by ministries, branches, political organizations, and socio-political organizations at the central level abroad according to international cooperation plans on research or preservation;
4- Procedures for consulting on proposed naming and renaming of large-scale public works of important significance, and street and road names.
In the tourism sector, procedures for recognizing national tourist areas will be simplified.
In the cultural and grassroots fields, there are 6 simplified internal administrative procedures, including:
1- Procedures for granting Gold Medals, Silver Medals, and Certificates of Merit for national and regional mass art competitions and festivals;
2- Procedures for appraising application files for recognition of traditional days;
3- Procedures for reviewing and recognizing districts, towns and cities at the provincial level that meet civilized urban standards;
4- Procedures for reviewing and re-recognizing districts, towns and cities at the provincial level that meet civilized urban standards;
5- Procedures for reviewing and recognizing wards and towns that meet civilized urban standards;
6- Procedures for reviewing and re-recognizing wards and towns that meet civilized urban standards.
For the fields of fine arts, photography and exhibitions , simplify 3 internal administrative procedures including:
1- Procedures for agreeing on granting construction permits for monuments and large-scale paintings;
2- Procedures for approving planning for provincial-level monuments and murals;
3- Procedures for adjusting planning for provincial-level monuments and murals.
The Prime Minister assigned the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to preside over and coordinate with relevant ministries and agencies to develop and promulgate documents to implement the plan to simplify administrative procedures under the authority of the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
