Amending and supplementing 35 administrative procedures on social protection and prevention of social evils

Accordingly, the Provincial People's Committee has revised and supplemented 35 administrative procedures in the fields of social protection and social evil prevention. At the same time, 4 administrative procedures in these fields have been abolished.

The amended and supplemented administrative procedures include: 16 provincial-level administrative procedures related to decisions on: recognizing production and business establishments employing 30% or more of the total workforce as people with disabilities; establishing public social assistance facilities under the provincial People's Committee, and specialized agencies under the provincial People's Committee.

12 district-level administrative procedures: implementation, adjustment, termination of monthly social allowance, monthly support for care and nurturing expenses...

3 administrative procedures at provincial and district levels: receiving social protection beneficiaries in especially difficult circumstances into provincial and district-level social assistance facilities; receiving beneficiaries in need of emergency protection into provincial and district-level social assistance facilities; stopping social assistance at provincial and district-level social assistance facilities.

4 commune-level administrative procedures: determining, re-determining the level of disability and issuing disability certificates; issuing, re-issuing disability certificates; registering operations for social assistance facilities with less than 10 disadvantaged people; providing emergency social assistance for housing construction and repair.

The Provincial People's Committee also abolished four procedures: registration of establishment and registration of changes to the content of the registration certificate of non-public assistance facilities at the provincial and district levels. These procedures were previously under the authority of the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs and the District Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs.

The Department of Health guides agencies and units to receive, process, return results, post and publicize administrative procedures to ensure compliance with regulations. Provide administrative procedure contents to the Public Administration Service Center for posting, publicizing, guiding the reception and return of results to ensure compliance with regulations.

The amendment, supplementation and abolition of many administrative procedures within the scope and management functions of the Hai Duong Provincial Department of Health helps strengthen state management and reduce some unnecessary procedures.
