Up to now, the loan turnover at the Transaction Office of the Social Policy Bank of Son Duong district has reached more than 158 billion VND with 3,298 customers borrowing capital; the average loan amount is 50 million VND/household. Thereby, the total outstanding debt of the whole district has increased to 856.9 billion VND, an increase of 25 billion VND compared to the same period in 2023. The loan capital under Resolution 03 of the Provincial People's Council alone has reached more than 18 billion VND.

The preferential credit policy lending program has truly become a resource to support poor and near-poor households and policy beneficiaries in Son Duong district to have conditions to develop the economy and escape poverty sustainably. In order for preferential loans to reach the right subjects and promote efficiency, along with maintaining 517 savings and loan groups in villages and residential groups, the People's Credit Fund of Son Duong district has actively coordinated with relevant agencies and socio-political organizations to provide information on preferential credit policy programs to the people. It has guided localities on criteria for evaluating loan subjects, loan procedures and integrated them with other socio-economic development programs to improve loan efficiency, helping borrowers use capital for the right purposes.
In the coming time, in order to effectively promote the loan capital from the Social Policy Bank, the district will coordinate with the entrusted socio-political organizations, the loan groups of communes and towns to regularly urge, inspect and supervise the implementation to ensure that the loan capital must be used for the right beneficiaries; thereby helping poor and near-poor households have conditions to access preferential capital to develop production and business, increase income and escape poverty sustainably.
Son Duong also continues to promote propaganda and mobilize cadres, civil servants, public employees, party members and people in the district to deposit savings at the District Social Policy Bank Transaction Office to supplement capital sources to meet the lending needs of people in the area.
