In Tuy Loc commune, when asking neighbors, everyone knows Mr. Kieu Ba Dong and his wife (born in 1940), perhaps because their family is particularly poor in the village. Remember just over 2 months ago, the couple still had to live in a thatched house with mud walls; whenever there was heavy rain or strong wind, the house would become rickety and leaky. The couple in their 80s always lived in fear that the house would collapse at any time.

After many years of fighting, Mr. Dong returned to his hometown, but his health had declined significantly. He was getting older and weaker. Recently, he had to go to the hospital frequently to treat his lung disease.

“Mr. Dong’s wife, Mrs. La Thi Soa, is also not in good health. The couple lives far away from their children and is often sick, so the local government is very sympathetic…” - Secretary of the Tuy Loc Commune Union Party Cell Giang Ton Hien said.

Sharing the difficulties of Mr. Dong and his wife, recently, CEO Club 1983 and Hoang Tuan Cosmetic Clinic System have raised a total of 82.9 million VND (including the value of the items) to support the construction of a house and the installation of a hot water system for Mr. Dong's family.

According to Ms. Le Dung - President of CEO Club 1983, charity activities are one of the programs that the club's executive board pays special attention to. Besides sharing with those in difficult circumstances, this is also a way to demonstrate the social responsibility of member businesses in the club.
