Businesses ready to participate in Green Vietnam Festival

The Green Vietnam Festival is scheduled to take place at the Youth Cultural House (4 Pham Ngoc Thach, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City), lasting from October 9 to 10 , 2011. The event brings together more than 60 businesses from many industries and fields to display green products, models, and environmentally friendly production solutions , aiming for a circular economy.

Hundreds of green gifts for visitors

Sharing with Tuoi Tre Online , Mr. Phan Minh Tan - representative of Duy Tan Recycled Plastic Joint Stock Company - said that at the upcoming festival, the company will display the latest type of recycled plastic pellets and products applied from them.

In particular, Duy Tan will introduce to visitors the on-site plastic recycling machine. According to Mr. Tan, this is one of the most modern waste sorting devices today. The machine is capable of sorting and separating the bottle body, bottle cap and bottle label, then cutting them into plastic pieces. The whole process takes place quickly in just 3 steps, shortening from 11 steps compared to traditional recycling machines.

In addition to green products and models, many participating businesses also prepare prize-winning game programs and old-for-new exchange activities for visitors.

Mr. Nguyen Manh Hung, representative of Ben & Tod fashion brand, said that each visitor to the booth will receive a 100,000 VND discount voucher when shopping. At the same time, customers can bring old clothes to exchange for new clothes from the brand .

Similarly , Cho Tot representative said that the unit will arrange two display areas at the festival including Cho Tot and Cho Tot Xe. At the Cho Tot Xe area, the business will introduce the service model "Sell old gasoline vehicles - exchange for new electric vehicles" . This is an initiative of Cho Tot to encourage users to switch from gasoline motorbikes to electric motorbikes, minimizing negative impacts on the environment. Visitors can also participate in the Kahoot game, answer interesting questions to receive gifts at the booth.

Meanwhile , a representative of The Greenmart Vietnam Co., Ltd. shared that the company has prepared a series of friendly products such as bamboo thermos bottles, bamboo cups, candle grass bags, bamboo ballpoint pens, sedge grass straws..., to give to visitors to the booth and participate in games at the event.

Speaking at the meeting on the afternoon of November 4, Mr. Tran Xuan Toan - Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Tuoi Tre Newspaper - said that the Green Vietnam Festival is not only a fair to display green products, but also an opportunity for businesses to spread the message of sustainability, demonstrating a strong commitment to environmental protection.

It is expected that during the two-day event, the Green Vietnam Festival will attract about 20,000 direct participants and hundreds of thousands of online followers.

Therefore , Mr. Toan encourages businesses to prepare carefully, not only with displayed products but also with communication stories to create a unique, green impression.

The organizers said that within the framework of the festival, there will also be a talk show called Tuoi Tre Start-up Award 2024 "Building a brand from the starting line" and the award ceremony night "Tuoi Tre Start-up Award 2024" will also be held with the participation of prestigious businessmen.
