The brilliant Ba Son Bridge connects modern urban areas on both banks of the Saigon River.

Since the beginning of this year, Ba Son Bridge connecting the two banks of the Saigon River has been illuminated with brilliant artistic lights. The bridge is like a string of light connecting the modern urban areas of central Ho Chi Minh City.

Ba Son Bridge (Thu Thiem 2 Bridge) was completed and handed over to the city by Dai Quang Minh Real Estate Investment Joint Stock Company (THADICO) in April 2022. The bridge plays a role in connecting traffic between the center of District 1 and the new urban area of Thu Thiem, and is considered a modern symbolic project of Ho Chi Minh City.

Furthermore, the project also connects directly to prominent destinations such as Nguyen Hue walking street, Bach Dang wharf and the city's financial center, the riverside park on the Thu Thiem side, creating a vibrant Saigon riverside landscape axis.

By the end of this year, this project will be supplemented with artistic lighting. Completing the artistic lighting system for Ba Son Bridge helps to add the final piece to this project to shape a sparkling night space. From there, it attracts tourists and brings impressive visual experiences to the people.

As the supplier and implementer of the lighting system at Ba Son Bridge, Mr. Su Ngoc Danh, sales director of Signify Vietnam, said he was very proud to participate in this category. The unit has been implementing many lighting projects for key buildings and works of the city across the country.

"Some of the outstanding projects we have completed include Nhat Tan Bridge (Hanoi), Bai Chay Bridge (Ha Long), Dragon Bridge, Tran Thi Ly Bridge (Da Nang), My Thuan Bridge (Tien Giang). And most recently, Ba Son Bridge will be inaugurated in the new year 2025.

The Ba Son Bridge lighting system is scheduled to be completed on schedule in early 2025, which is also the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification.

The bridge's bright lights are not only a symbol of strong development but also a meaningful tribute to the changes that Ho Chi Minh City has achieved over the past 50 years. Thereby bringing pride to the city's residents and visitors when admiring it," Mr. Danh shared.

Mr. Danh added that the Ba Son Bridge lighting project is a clear demonstration of Signify’s efforts in enhancing urban spaces. The unit has contributed to beautifying the city and bringing unique nighttime experiences to the people.

According to the Department of Transport and Public Works, Ba Son Bridge is a very beautiful bridge, so the bridge lighting design creates a highlight for this project. The Ba Son Bridge's artistic lighting system combined with Nguyen Hue walking street and Bach Dang park creates a highlight at night for the Saigon River and a sightseeing spot for tourists and residents of Ho Chi Minh City. Previously, at the end of 2024, immediately after the City approved the project, the Department announced the results of the technical design appraisal and granted a construction permit (phase 1) for the artistic lighting project of Ba Son Bridge.
