Businesses propose to remove difficulties for production

In response to the proposals of the business community, the provincial leaders pledged to direct relevant units to coordinate in reviewing and taking timely measures to resolve the issues. In order to achieve high economic growth in the coming time, the local government and businesses must truly work together and support each other to achieve the common development goals of the locality and the whole country.

Facilitate infrastructure for businesses

Chairman of Dong Nai Business Federation Dang Van Diem said that the problem of enterprises is the difficulty of production space. The province is planning to relocate factories to concentrated production areas, so it is necessary to have statistics on the number of enterprises with specific needs and the industrial clusters and zones that enterprises can access to solve the problem of production and business space for the right subjects. In addition, appropriate support policies and specific incentives should be issued for enterprises to know and participate.

Another problem is that in some industrial parks and clusters, the ratio of land use planning for production and business compared to the previous planning is not reasonable with the reality of infrastructure development and the needs of enterprises. The Federation recommends that the Provincial People's Committee review and adjust the land use planning for industrial parks and clusters that still have space for old planned land that has not been changed to facilitate enterprises to have more space for production and business.

According to the Dong Nai Business Federation, the unit will be more active in acting as a bridge between the government and the business community, coordinating more closely with departments, branches and sectors to build and effectively implement programs, policies and solutions to support businesses in the area more effectively.

Chairman of the Board of Directors of Phuong Troi Investment Corporation (Bien Hoa City) Ton Duc Thinh suggested that the State should have a policy of prioritizing capital support for projects of innovation, creativity, advanced technology, and green technology. At the same time, some industrial clusters should be converted to suit actual needs. Dong Nai currently has a ceramic industrial cluster, but this sector currently lacks raw materials and resources, so it cannot develop. Therefore, it is recommended to convert it so that other sectors and industries can access production space.

Vice President of Dong Nai Import-Export Association Nguyen Duy Hung suggested that there should be more policies to promote connections between enterprises in the province and outside the province, the Southeast cluster, and modern distribution channels to expand the consumption of domestic products in the province and the region. Develop a smart logistics system, combine modern warehouses, artificial intelligence (AI), big data technology to optimize transportation, reduce distribution costs, etc.

Increase dialogue and companionship between government and businesses

In addition to specific issues, businesses in the province want the province to propose solutions to the Central Government such as: exemption from income tax for businesses for 3-5 years, and preferential loans with low interest rates. In the field of fire prevention, fighting and environment, regulations should be appropriate to the industry and scale of the business. For example, the current environmental impact assessment (EIA) needs to have specific and clear regulations right from the time the business invests on criteria for wastewater and exhaust gas treatment... according to requirements, because currently businesses still have to prepare documents, evaluate, grant licenses, and inspect, which takes a lot of time. Businesses propose to remove this procedure, instead, businesses will take responsibility if they do not meet current regulations.

Sharing with businesses, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Tan Duc affirmed that Dong Nai will continue to promote administrative procedure reform, further improve the quality of human resources, develop infrastructure, and create a favorable investment environment. Dong Nai's strategy is to prioritize businesses investing in fields with modern technology, supporting industry, semiconductor industry, green technology, and environmental friendliness. Thereby, helping Dong Nai industry develop sustainably, enhancing the province's competitiveness. The sustainable development of the locality cannot be separated from the companionship and contribution of the business community.

Similarly, according to Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Duong Minh Dung, to achieve high and sustainable growth, Dong Nai takes science, technology and innovation as the driving force for development. The province hopes that business associations and professional associations in the province will play their role as an extension of the government, helping the government and businesses meet and exchange frankly with each other. This affirms the locality's consistency in valuing the private economy, increasing dialogue, and accompanying businesses to remove difficulties and obstacles, and supporting development.
