Right after the Lunar New Year 2025, enterprises in industrial parks, clusters and economic zones in Quang Tri province have quickly caught up with production, with a spirit of enthusiastic work, determined to achieve the highest efficiency. Many enterprises have expanded their scale to meet the increased orders. This is a positive signal, demonstrating the stability of enterprises as well as the solidarity of workers.

Up to this point, 95% of workers have returned to work at enterprises and factories in the province after the 2025 Lunar New Year holiday. In the exciting atmosphere of early spring to complete the signed product volume, many enterprises have launched a labor - production emulation movement to each production line and team, setting goals to strive for many high-quality products, contributing to the completion of the 2025 plan.
Entering Scavi Quang Tri Co., Ltd., specializing in the production of underwear and sportswear in the Tay Bac Ho Xa Industrial Park, Vinh Linh District, we felt the urgent working atmosphere in this enterprise. In the first working week after the Lunar New Year holiday, nearly 98% of employees returned to work, the highest rate compared to recent years. In each production line and stage, the workers were highly focused on their work.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Tuyet (born in 1979) shared: “We are very happy to receive New Year greetings from the board of directors, representatives of the company's trade union organization, along with lucky red envelopes. Last year, our employees received full and proper benefits and policies such as salary, bonus, social insurance, health insurance, etc., so we feel secure in continuing to work with the company.”
The union representative of Scavi Quang Tri Company Limited said that the company is creating stable jobs for over 500 workers, with an average income of over 6 million VND/person/month. Thanks to the unit's leaders proactively signing contracts with partners on long-term production orders, workers always have jobs.
Along with that, the company has reasonable policies and good treatment for employees to help them feel secure in sticking with the business. Currently, the company is focusing on completing orders to export to the European market in the first quarter. Thanks to the quality and reputation of the products, many partners have coordinated and placed orders, thereby contributing to improving the production and business efficiency of the unit.
For VRG Quang Tri MDF Wood Joint Stock Company in Quan Ngang Industrial Park, Gio Linh District, nearly 100% of employees have returned to work after the Tet holiday. The company's staff and employees entered the work with a competitive spirit. The company specializes in producing all kinds of wooden panels. Currently, the price of wooden panels on the market has increased again, stimulating employees to work enthusiastically and increase their income.
The company's leadership representative said that before Tet, the unit paid attention to fully implementing salary and bonus policies as well as organizing activities to visit and give Tet gifts to employees. Entering the accelerated production period of the first quarter, all departments in the company are striving to achieve the set goals. The company's board of directors aims to improve productivity and product quality to ensure delivery progress and meet customer needs.
Data from the Provincial Federation of Labor shows that at present, more than 95% of workers in the province have returned to work after the Lunar New Year, including many businesses with a 100% return to work rate.
Before, during and after the Lunar New Year, trade unions at all levels coordinated with businesses to organize many activities to care for and give Tet gifts to workers in difficult circumstances with 10,000 gifts worth 5 billion VND. Workers were awarded their 13th month salary; the average Tet bonus was 6.7 million VND/person; businesses organized New Year's lucky money for workers who returned to work on time. Right from the first working week, workers actively responded to register for high-quality projects and products, creating a bustling atmosphere in the units.
The province currently has more than 3,360 enterprises employing about 55,000 workers. After Tet, enterprises have returned to normal production. Workers and laborers are excited, feel secure in their work, are committed to and accompany enterprises and expect that in the new year, their jobs and incomes will always be stable and their lives will be improved.
Visiting and encouraging enterprises to resume production and business after the Lunar New Year 2025, Acting Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ha Sy Dong shared that despite many fluctuations and challenges in 2024, many units still achieved positive production and business results. Hopefully in 2025, enterprises will continue to overcome difficulties, complete the production and business plans, achieve high revenue and profits, create jobs and stable income for workers, contributing to the development of the locality.
