At the contact points, Deputy Head of the Provincial Ethnic Committee Ho Thi Minh reported to voters the results of the 8th session of the 15th National Assembly. After 29.5 working days, the session passed 18 laws and 21 resolutions; gave initial opinions on 10 other draft laws; and reviewed and decided on personnel work within its authority.
After listening to the report, the majority of voters expressed their joy with the results of the session and highly appreciated the contributions and active activities of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation in recent times.
Proposing contents on health insurance and policies to support poor households
Expressing their thoughts and aspirations, voters of Xy commune reflected that currently, people are covered by health insurance (HI) for 100% of the costs when going to the hospital. However, public officials and civil servants are only covered by HI for 80%. It is recommended that the National Assembly consider and support officials and civil servants working in disadvantaged communes in general, and Xy commune in particular, to enjoy 100% of the costs of medical examination and treatment when participating in HI.

In recent years, Xy commune has benefited from national target programs for socio-economic development in ethnic minority areas, including a housing support project for the poor with an investment capital of 40 million VND/house. In reality, 40 million VND is not enough for people to buy materials to build houses. It is recommended that the National Assembly consider increasing the housing support level to 80-100 million VND/house.
Currently, the staff, civil servants and public employees of Xy commune are entitled to 30% of the border area allowance. This allowance is lower than that of some neighboring localities. It is recommended that the competent authority consider allowing Xy commune to receive 50% of the border area allowance.
Reflecting many pressing local issues
The headquarters of the Xy Commune People's Committee was invested in and built in 2005 and is now seriously degraded. On August 30, 2022, the People's Council of Huong Hoa district issued a resolution approving the investment policy for the Xy Commune office building, with a total investment of over 5.3 billion VND. According to voters, this budget is not enough to build the project. Therefore, it is recommended that competent authorities support additional funding to build the commune People's Committee headquarters.
Xy commune is a remote commune, about 30 km from the center of Huong Hoa district. Whenever someone is sick, people have to travel a long distance to the district health center. It is recommended that the competent authority consider rebuilding the Lia Regional General Clinic.
Voters also recommended that competent authorities review and strictly implement legal regulations to ensure the reasonableness and appropriateness of the transfer and appointment of kindergarten principals in the area.

Voters in Mo O commune reported that sand and gravel mining on the Dakrong riverbed caused riverbank erosion, affecting people's productive land. They requested competent authorities to consider investing in building a riverbank embankment system so that people can live and work in peace.
Route 588A, the section passing through Mo O commune, does not have a drainage system, so it is often flooded when it rains, causing traffic safety problems for the people. Many accidents have occurred on this route. It is recommended that competent authorities pay attention to investing in upgrading, repairing and overcoming this problem.
Voters reported that drug users are increasing and getting younger; many families let their school-age children drive motorbikes and scooters in violation of the Traffic Law, causing public outrage. They recommended that competent authorities promptly rectify and handle the situation to ensure security and order in the area.
