DTO - Recently, Working Group No. 09 of the Standing Committee of Dong Thap Provincial Party Committee led by Colonel Nguyen Huu Cuong - Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Commander of the Provincial Military Command, came to work with the Standing Committee of Thap Muoi District Party Committee on the organization of the political system and the socio-economic development situation in 2025.

Working scene

In accordance with the policy, Thap Muoi district has ended the activities of the Health Care and Protection Committee for Cadres, established the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee of the District Party Committee; and rearranged 10 specialized agencies under the District People's Committee. In addition, the Standing Committee of Thap Muoi District Party Committee has decided to dissolve and rename 5 Party cells and grassroots Party committees and establish 2 grassroots Party cells.

Regarding the regime and policies for cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers in implementing the organizational arrangement, ensure the principles of democratic centralism, objectivity, fairness, publicity, transparency and in accordance with the provisions of law.

Regarding the socio-economic development situation, the district focuses on implementing the 1 million hectare rice project and models that bring high economic efficiency, developing industry and trade - services, building advanced and exemplary new rural areas; focusing on implementing the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses...

Speaking at the working session, Colonel Nguyen Huu Cuong - Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Commander of the Provincial Military Command, Head of the delegation highly appreciated the leadership and direction of the Standing Committee of Thap Muoi District Party Committee. At the same time, he requested that the Standing Committee of Thap Muoi District Party Committee strengthen the direction of Party committees and authorities at all levels to propagate and raise awareness of all classes of people to properly implement the policies of the Party and State; set out tasks before and after the merger at the commune level, the dissolution at the district level, especially in the fields of land, public assets, and ongoing projects; pay attention to implementing the Temporary Housing Elimination Program in accordance with the directives of the superiors; continue to carry out socio-economic development tasks according to the set plan... Before that, the delegation came to work and survey at Vietnam Rice Company Limited (VINARICE) and Worth Living Village in Hamlet 1, Tan Kieu Commune.
