The 6th National Startup Summit - Binh Dinh (National Startup Summit, Binh Dinh 2025) is an activity to contribute to the realization of Resolution No. 57 dated December 22, 2024 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation. The forum opens up opportunities for international cooperation, experience exchange and investment attraction, contributing to promoting the strong development of the startup ecosystem in Vietnam in general and Binh Dinh province in particular.

Speaking at the event, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Anh Tuan said that the forum is not only an opportunity for policy makers, businesses, investors, experts and the startup community to meet and share experiences, but also plays an important role as a bridge, promoting cooperation, calling for resources, creating motivation for the innovative startup ecosystem to develop more strongly, especially in the Central - Central Highlands region.

Binh Dinh is not only a land rich in cultural and historical traditions, but also possesses a strategic location in the South Central Coast, creating great advantages in economic development and trade. With a synchronous transport infrastructure system and open investment attraction policies, the province has become one of the most attractive localities for investors, especially in the fields of high technology, artificial intelligence, logistics and processing and manufacturing industry. Thanks to that, Binh Dinh is gradually shaping its position as a destination for science, technology and innovation.

In recent times, Binh Dinh province has focused on building an innovation ecosystem and forming research centers and applying advanced technology. In particular, an important milestone is the construction of Quy Hoa Science Urban Area - Quy Nhon Innovation Valley with a scale of 242 hectares. Binh Dinh is also the first locality in the country to have a science urban model, becoming a destination for the world's leading scientists. The core of this urban area is the International Center for Interdisciplinary Science and Education (ICISE), which gathers the International Council for High-Level Sponsorship of Science, including 9 Nobel Prize-winning professors and 1 Fields Medal-winning professor. To date, ICISE has attracted more than 16,000 scientists from more than 60 countries, organized more than 200 scientific events, including more than 120 international conferences. In parallel, Binh Dinh has also promoted investment in developing research and technology application centers with many large-scale projects.

The success of this National Innovation and Startup Forum lies not only in the discussion sessions or the cooperation signing ceremony, but more importantly, the startup projects will be promoted, investors will find new opportunities and creative ideas will soon become reality. Speaking at the opening of the forum, Chairman of the National Startup Association Dinh Viet Hoa especially emphasized the role of people in innovation and startups. According to him, the Creative Startup Forum is not about organizations, the achievements of companies, but about people full of aspirations, full of heart, with great responsibility in creating jobs and social wealth. That is the message that the National Startup Forum always aims for, that is people, only people can create innovation, thereby creating achievements contributing to the country and the nation. Mr. Dinh Viet Hoa emphasized: "We talk about innovators, who are they? They are people who always create value for all components, including value for organizations, value for employees, value for partners, value for the community as customers and finally value for society.

At the forum, ambassadors from various countries, speakers, investors, and businesses presented papers and shared experiences on how to start a business and innovate successfully, as well as the role of the government in guiding and creating a favorable environment to promote creative startups in each locality and unit.

Notably, at the discussion session with the theme: "Converging global resources to develop the innovation ecosystem in Binh Dinh province" within the framework of the forum, economic experts shared their perspectives, proposed solutions and connected potential cooperation in the spirit of openness - companionship - development together. In particular, experts proposed the need for a mechanism to support human resource training for businesses and innovative organizations in finance, accounting, marketing, information technology. More importantly, Binh Dinh cannot go it alone but must link regions, cooperate to develop the startup ecosystem, innovation, etc.

The 6th National Innovation and Startup Forum - Binh Dinh 2025 is not only an opportunity to share and learn from experiences but also an important bridge to promote cooperation between startups, investors, businesses and innovation support organizations at home and abroad. This year, the Forum took place with many meaningful and practical activities, including: in-depth discussions on investment, innovation, artificial intelligence, cross-border e-commerce.
