According to the plan, Phu Yen targets international tourist markets such as Korea, Japan, Thailand, India, Russia and Europe.

As for the domestic tourism market, the province focuses on attracting tourists from the Central Highlands provinces (Kon Tum, Gia Lai, Dak Lak, Dak Nong, Lam Dong); Hanoi and the northern provinces; Ho Chi Minh City; neighboring provinces in the central coastal region (Ninh Thuan, Khanh Hoa, Binh Dinh, Quang Ngai, Da Nang); the southeastern provinces, enterprises in industrial parks in Dong Nai, Binh Duong, Long An; and the southwestern provinces.

The market segment will focus on attracting business travelers, conferences, seminars, individual travelers, families, young groups of travelers, high-income older travelers on vacation...

Stimulating products to attract tourists include beach resorts, MICE products; green tourism products/tours, experiential tourism to nature, mountains, forests, islands, thereby developing new tourism products to explore coastal islands, "sea and forest in harmony" products; Phu Yen culinary products associated with ocean tuna; rural tourism products associated with OCOP products; Nha Trang - Tuy Hoa railway tourism products implemented by Vietravel.

Sightseeing spots for stone culture products; entertainment products; eco-tourism spots, community tourism in coastal, mountainous and delta areas. In addition, we also build promotional packages to stimulate tourism such as experiencing all-inclusive promotional services including: Air tickets, 3-5 star hotels, food, sightseeing, entertainment... at preferential prices.

Mr. Ho Van Tien - Chairman of Phu Yen Tourism Association - said that businesses are currently making detailed stimulus plans because the peak summer tourist season is about to begin.

"This year, there are expected to be many new products such as train tours because the route from Nha Trang to Tuy Hoa is beautiful, the journey is relatively short and currently, visitors from Ho Chi Minh City or Hanoi often choose to travel by train because the airfare is quite high. Tourism businesses belonging to the association focus on improving service quality and enhancing the experience for visitors," said Mr. Tien.
