Dak Lak Hot Air Balloon Festival 2025 - Flying over the great forest

On the afternoon of April 16, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Dak Lak province coordinated with the People's Committee of Buon Don district to hold a press conference to inform about the Dak Lak Hot Air Balloon Festival 2025 - Flying over the great forest. This is the first event to be held in Dak Lak province.

Speaking at the press conference, Chairman of Buon Don District People's Committee Pham Trung Nghia said: The hot air balloon festival will take place in Buon Don District, Dak Lak Province from May 1-3. Buon Don District, a land rich in national cultural identity, majestic nature and hospitable people, always aspires to innovate and develop tourism in a sustainable manner.

With the desire to introduce the image of Buon Don closer to domestic and foreign tourists, the People's Committee of Buon Don district coordinated with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Dak Lak province to organize the Dak Lak Hot Air Balloon Festival 2025 - Flying over the great forest.

Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Dak Lak province Tran Hong Tien spoke at the press conference.

This is the first time a large-scale event with unique experiences such as hot air ballooning has been held locally.

The event is not only entertaining and artistic but also a bridge to promote culture, tourism potential, especially the identity of the ethnic groups in the Central Highlands with friends from all over the world.

Within the framework of the festival, there will be many attractive activities such as: Free-flying and hanging hot air balloon performances; experience activities for tourists; traditional cultural and artistic exchange programs; food booths and local specialties...

Mr. Nguyen Tien Dung, Deputy General Director of Dak Lak 2/9 Import-Export One Member Limited Liability Company (Simexco Daklak) said that Dak Lak is a majestic land possessing many potentials and strengths to develop tourism, therefore, Simexco not only sponsors the event Dak Lak Hot Air Balloon Festival 2025 - Flying over the great forest with financial resources, but also with a long-term commitment: accompanying the province, the people, and those working in tourism to create a new trend, the trend of discovery tourism, identity tourism, tourism with the breath of the true Central Highlands.

The Hot Air Balloon Festival aims to promote the tourism potential and image of the land and people of Buon Don district in particular, Dak Lak province in general to the people and domestic and international tourists, so that when mentioning Dak Lak province, tourists do not only think of coffee, but also think of a land of festivals, of original experiences, of the colorful sky of hot air balloons on every holiday.

And the Dak Lak Hot Air Balloon Festival 2025 will be the first milestone marking that journey to promote tourism development in the province and improve the lives of local people.

The Organizing Committee of Dak Lak Hot Air Balloon Festival 2025 - Flying over the Great Forest hopes to welcome more than 250,000 visitors to Dak Lak province during the holiday from May 1 to 3, of which Buon Don district alone will welcome more than 100,000 visitors, contributing to making Buon Don an attractive destination on the Vietnam tourism map.
