A Pa Chai flagpole over 45m high is about to be inaugurated

A Pa Chai flagpole is a sacred symbol of sovereignty and a cultural and historical tourist highlight.

This is a destination that contributes to arousing national pride, solidarity, and sense of responsibility of all people in the cause of building and protecting national borders.

According to the plan of the People's Committee of Dien Bien province, the inauguration ceremony will take place at the border marker waiting area. This activity is on the occasion of the 71st anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory and to welcome the 15th Provincial Party Congress.

The flag-raising ceremony was held at the A Pa Chai flagpole yard, at an altitude of 1,432m above sea level. This activity included a flag-raising ceremony and a commemorative tree-planting ceremony.

Near the A Pa Chai flagpole is the westernmost landmark of the country, the border junction between Vietnam - China - Laos, the place known as a rooster crowing that all three countries can hear.

When coming to Dien Bien in general and Muong Nhe in particular, the westernmost point, A Pa Chai flagpole is a destination not to be missed for tourists, especially young people.
