In order to widely inform about cultural, sports and tourism events and activities of Thanh Hoa province taking place in 2024, new tourism products and services, on the afternoon of March 13, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism held a conference to announce the tourism stimulus program and consult on perfecting the product "Thanh Hoa Tourism - Four Seasons of Fragrance" in 2024.

In 2024, with the goal of welcoming 13.8 million visitors, Thanh Hoa tourism industry continues to renew existing products and add new services and products such as Flamingo Hai Tien beach tourist area, water park and Sam Son beach square... In addition, Thanh Hoa province continues to maintain and develop event tourism products with 145 cultural, sports and tourism activities and events at tourist areas and destinations throughout the province. Thereby stimulating tourism demand, attracting domestic and foreign tourists. In addition to promoting investment, tourism promotion and advertising, Thanh Hoa province also attaches great importance to linkage and cooperation activities in tourism development with localities across the country to gradually improve products and expand the tourist market. In which, the market of the Northwestern provinces is one of the key tourist markets that Thanh Hoa tourism is aiming for.

The conference listened to the opinions and suggestions of managers and businesses on the potential and advantages of Thanh Hoa tourism as well as the orientations and solutions to develop tours and tourism routes in the coming time. Some opinions suggested that Thanh Hoa province should pay attention to promoting the image and destinations of Thanh Hoa to the Northwestern provinces; have separate mechanisms and policies for tourism businesses in the Northwestern provinces when exploiting visitors to Thanh Hoa; integrate local culinary products and regional cultural identities into tours serving tourists.

In addition, some opinions suggest that, to promote the connection between Thanh Hoa and the Northwestern provinces and extend the time for tours, Thanh Hoa province needs to focus on promoting the development of the night economy; develop diverse experiential activities different from the Northwestern provinces; improve the quality of services at key tourist areas and spots...

On behalf of the provincial leaders, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Thi acknowledged and highly appreciated the enthusiastic contributions of members from the Northwestern provinces. These will be valuable suggestions for Thanh Hoa to perfect tours, routes and develop tourism products of the province in the coming time.
Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Thi requested departments, branches, localities and units in the province to fully absorb the comments; develop effective plans to establish and exploit the two-way tourist market between Thanh Hoa and the Northwestern provinces. At the same time, he expressed his hope that the State management agencies on tourism and tourism associations of the Northwestern provinces would continue to pay attention and prioritize choosing Thanh Hoa as a tourist destination in the local tourism development orientations and programs. In addition, support and create conditions for local tourism businesses to research and learn about Thanh Hoa province's tourism resources to build and exploit tours to Thanh Hoa.
