DTO - In the 2022-2023 school year, the Department of Education and Training will coordinate with relevant departments and People's Committees of districts and cities to survey and evaluate the current situation and number of students in each subject and level of education. Thereby, deploy and implement plans to invest in facilities to meet the implementation of the new general education and general education programs for primary schools.

With the attention of the Provincial People's Committee, support from departments, branches, local authorities in districts and cities, in the 2022 - 2023 school year, the education and training sector is given priority in investing funds from the following sources: provincial and district budgets, the National Target Program on New Rural Development... in a timely manner, completing the system of school facilities to implement the program, textbooks, and new general education programs. In the 2022 - 2023 school year, for the primary level, 24 new schools have started construction with a scale of 226 classrooms, 384 functional rooms (excluding transitional projects), with a total cost of more than 245 billion VND; 197 classrooms, 341 functional rooms (transitional projects) have been completed and put into use, ensuring compliance with the standards prescribed by the Ministry of Education and Training in Circular No. 13/TT-BGDDT dated May 26, 2020. In addition, school maintenance and repair are carried out according to the annual plan, with over 500 classrooms and functional rooms repaired at a total cost of over 18 billion VND. The Department of Education and Training coordinates with relevant departments to organize and implement the project to ensure facilities for the General Education Program for the period 2017 - 2025 for grades 1, 2, 3... Up to now, the procedures have been completed, equipment has been received, accepted, and handed over to educational institutions. The Department of Education and Training directs school units to proactively exploit and use available or self-made teaching equipment and supplies. At the same time, online learning resources and warehouses have been built after the online teaching period at the Primary level, including online textbooks, online lectures, Powerpoint lectures on Youtube, Google Drive, and the Department of Education and Training's website... to help teachers and students look up and study.
From 2017 to present, every school year, the People's Committees of districts and cities, the Department of Education and Training of districts and cities have reviewed, invested, repaired, built new classrooms, functional rooms, kitchens, toilets, clean water facilities and purchased additional teaching equipment... Up to now, 100% of educational institutions have classrooms, functional rooms, toilets, clean water facilities, playgrounds, libraries to serve the learning and entertainment needs of students. Based on the actual situation, the Department of Education and Training, the People's Committees of districts and cities have implemented the policy of reviewing, rearranging, and adjusting the scale of schools and classes at all levels in the district and city. The streamlining of the apparatus, staffing, reduction of school and class units, and sub-schools is carried out by the education and training sector according to the principle of convenience for students, meeting the requirements of innovation, improving the quality of education, and being suitable to the actual conditions and development requirements of the locality.
In the 2023-2024 school year, the Department of Education and Training will continue to coordinate with departments and People's Committees of districts and cities to invest in facilities for teaching and learning for primary school students. In particular, focusing on investing in a system of functional rooms to teach subjects in an integrated manner, applying creative skills for students, creating favorable conditions for students to work in groups, and applying information technology in the learning process according to the new textbook program.
