Comrade Tran Manh Cuong - Secretary of the Party Committee of Au Lau commune, Yen Bai city said: "Over the years, the Party Committee of the commune has always been a locality that has been highly appreciated in implementing Directive No. 05; Conclusion No. 14/KL/TW dated September 22, 2021 of the Politburo on the policy of encouraging and protecting dynamic and creative cadres for the common good. In the process of implementation at the grassroots level, through propaganda, mobilization, and Party cell activities, we have widely deployed throughout the Party Committee with the theme of "self-reflection, self-correction" to overcome limitations, weaknesses, and outstanding issues that people are concerned about. The Party Committee also incorporates the content of studying and following Uncle Ho into the program and plan to implement the Resolution of the Party Congress of the commune for the term 2020 - 2025 and patriotic emulation movements. Learning and following Uncle Ho has spread widely in practice, becoming a positive way of thinking and action that has been responded to by a large number of union members, association members, and people.

Every year, based on the resolution of the entire term, the Party Committee pays special attention to maintaining the living regime of the Party cells, implementing well the working regulations, assigning and assigning specific tasks associated with the responsibilities of each collective and individual, especially the leader.

The Fatherland Front and other organizations and unions actively propagate and mobilize union members, association members and people to actively participate in emulation movements; in which, the most prominent are emulation movements in socio-economic development, building advanced new rural communes, model new rural villages, etc.

Every year, the commune focuses on introducing hybrid rice varieties, pure rice varieties, high yield and quality such as: HT1, Chiem Huong, Seng Cu... to sow in 121.4 hectares of 2-crop rice fields, yielding 53 quintals/ha/crop, rice output reaching 635 tons/year. Taking advantage of garden land, fields, households plant 56 hectares of corn, 6.5 hectares of sweet potatoes, 4 hectares of peanuts and nearly 50 hectares of various vegetables.

Implementing Resolution No. 19 - NQ/TU dated January 22, 2021 of the City Party Committee on "Developing trade and services in a professional and modern direction, promoting rapid and sustainable socio-economic growth, period 2021 - 2025", the Commune Party Committee propagates and mobilizes people to expand and develop service types such as: transportation, telecommunications services, garment, supply of agricultural materials, construction materials...

Currently, the commune has 231 companies, enterprises and dozens of service business households operating, attracting over 3,000 workers. Companies, enterprises and business households always fulfill their tax obligations to the State. Up to now, the total retail sales of goods in the commune have reached over 700 billion VND/year; the annual industrial and handicraft production value is estimated at 600 billion VND. Au Lau Industrial Park continues to be planned and expanded with an area of ​​68 hectares and will soon hand over the premises to a number of enterprises in 2025, including: Bat Do bamboo shoot processing factory; Kien Phat paper factory; aluminum profile factory, etc.

Implementing the targets of the Party Resolution of the commune for the term 2020 - 2025, up to now, 16/16 targets have been achieved and exceeded, including: the value of agricultural, forestry and fishery production reached 93 billion VND, equal to 106% of the plan; 6/8 villages were recognized as model new-style rural villages, reaching 105% of the plan; budget revenue reached over 7 billion VND/year, equal to 118% of the plan; the rate of job creation was 250 people/year, reaching 112% of the plan; the rate of households participating in health insurance accounted for 99%, reaching 100%; the rate of households meeting the standards of cultural families was 97%, reaching 100%; the rate of environmental sanitation waste collection was 98%, reaching 115%; average income per capita reached 60 million VND/year, reaching 105% of the plan...

In the coming time, the Commune Party Committee will continue to effectively implement Directive No. 05 through good models, advanced examples, creative and effective ways of doing things; continue to innovate the working style and manner of the commune cadres in performing public duties to serve businesses and people; promote patriotic emulation movements in all fields... This is an important premise for Au Lau to firmly step on the path of industrialization and modernization of agriculture and rural areas.
