Mr. Tran Van Binh shared: "To create something new and unique, I decided to plant two Nam Dien bonsai trees in front of the house gate to create a shape similar to a Thai-roofed house."
"After 18 years of care and trimming, the gate is now complete and looks very beautiful. Someone once offered to buy it for 340 million VND, but I have no intention of selling it," said Mr. Binh.

Observing, two banyan trees are bent and shaped into a Thai-roofed gate at Mr. Binh's house in Nga Lien commune (Nga Son district, Thanh Hoa province) which is truly "rare and hard to find".
The gate is about 4.5 meters high and 2.4 meters wide, convenient for walking. In addition, on both sides of Mr. Binh's gate there is a fence planted with many banyan trees stretching 16 meters, adding to the beauty of the house.
The two banyan trees are intertwined by large and small branches of different sizes. The leaves are slightly curly. The trees are extremely healthy and grow well.

Mr. Tran Van Binh said: "Every two months, I trim and shape the two bonsai trees: pinching the tops, removing excess branches... to keep them in the original shape.
In addition, I fertilize the plants once a year, the type of fertilizer I usually use is composted manure. In particular, I have to water them every day so the leaves look green all year round and full of vitality.
The Sanh tree, scientifically known as Si-Ficus benjamina L, is a tree belonging to the mulberry family - Moraceae. This is a woody plant, which can grow up to 30 meters tall in the wild.
In addition, the tree's branches grow horizontally, are quite flexible, and have many secondary roots that grow during the rainy season. Note that the banyan tree has latex, containing wax and cerotic acid that can cause allergies.

Learn, in the world of bonsai, the banyan tree symbolizes fertility, bringing the owner wealth and prosperity...
The Nam Dien Sanh tree originated and was named after a place in Nam Dien commune (now renamed Dien Xa commune, Nam Truc district, Nam Dinh province). Here, there is a very famous traditional bonsai craft village, Vy Khe. This type of Sanh is not only popular because it is beautiful but also has a very high economic value.
