Hanoi National University cooperates to train doctors for the police force

This is the content just agreed upon in the working session between Hanoi National University and the Ministry of Public Security on cooperation in training and fostering medical human resources for the People's Public Security force.

On November 12, Hanoi National University said that the school and the Ministry of Public Security had just had a working session on cooperation in training and fostering medical human resources for the people's police force.

At the working session, General Luong Tam Quang - Politburo member, Minister of Public Security emphasized that in recent years, together with agencies, ministries, departments and branches, Hanoi National University has paid attention to and regularly coordinated with the Ministry of Public Security in all aspects of work, especially in education, training, science, technology and international cooperation.

This coordination has been specified by the parties in Coordination Regulation No. 03 dated March 7, 2023 between the Ministry of Public Security and Hanoi National University on ensuring security and order in educational, training, scientific, technological and international cooperation activities.

In addition, the two sides agreed on many important contents, including coordination in personnel work; training, fostering, coaching, and professional training; digital transformation, information security and safety.

In order for the cooperation between the Ministry of Public Security and Hanoi National University to continue to achieve high achievements and results in the coming time, at the working session, the two sides agreed on the policy for the People's Public Security University of Technology and Logistics to cooperate with the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hanoi National University in training human resources.

The expected cooperation contents include regular university enrollment, joint training and organizing annual foreign emergency training classes for combat forces of the Ministry of Public Security...

At the meeting, Mr. Le Quan, director of Hanoi National University, said that the cooperation between Hanoi National University and the Ministry of Public Security in training and fostering medical human resources for the people's police force, including training foreign emergency personnel, demonstrates the strategic vision of the leaders, as well as the social responsibility of the parties.

Professor Le Ngoc Thanh - Principal of the University of Medicine and Pharmacy emphasized the importance of out-of-hospital emergency care and said that in order for out-of-hospital emergency care to continue to better meet the needs of society, it is necessary to quickly train and build a large and diverse out-of-hospital emergency care force such as citizens, police, fire police, drivers, out-of-hospital emergency care technicians, etc., creating a widespread multi-layered out-of-hospital emergency care network.

According to Mr. Thanh, developing a model for teaching practical emergency care outside the hospital and preclinical simulation is extremely necessary. This is a requirement not only for scientists and professional practice units but also for the entire Hanoi National University, society and the country, including the People's Public Security force.

Also at the meeting, under the witness of Minister Luong Tam Quang and Mr. Le Quan, Director of Hanoi National University, representatives of the leaders of the University of Engineering - Logistics of the People's Public Security and the University of Medicine and Pharmacy signed a coordination regulation with the content of evaluating cooperation results every 3 years.
