Da Nang attracts 8.7 million USD in FDI capital

On June 14, the Department of Planning and Investment of Da Nang City announced that it had just issued investment policy decisions for many new projects.

From April 16 to May 15, Da Nang issued investment policy decisions and investment registration certificates in industrial parks, high-tech parks, and information technology parks for two domestic investment projects with a total capital of nearly VND40,000 billion.

11 newly licensed FDI projects with newly registered capital of 1.090 million USD, an increase of 3.93 times over the same period in 2022. 7 projects increased capital by 1.912 million USD, an increase of 12.7 times over the same period in 2022.

The city also granted new business registration certificates to 394 enterprises, branches and representative offices, with total registered charter capital reaching VND 1,128.8 billion, down 7% in the number of enterprises and down 60% in capital compared to the same period in 2022.

Accumulated in the first 5 months of the year (up to May 15), Da Nang has granted Investment Policy Decisions and Investment Registration Certificates in industrial parks, high-tech parks, and information technology parks to 10 domestic investment projects with a total capital of VND 46,041,573 billion, and terminated 1 domestic project with an investment capital of VND 4.5 billion.

This locality newly granted 55 FDI projects with newly registered capital of 8.741 million USD, an increase of 44.1% over the same period in 2022, 18 projects with a total additional capital of 10.945 million USD, an increase of 8.6 times over the same period in 2022.

Since the beginning of the year, the city has newly issued business registration certificates to 1,630 enterprises, branches and representative offices, with a total registered charter capital of VND 6,727.7 billion; down 8.4% in the number of enterprises and down 41.5% in capital compared to the same period in 2022.

As of May 15, the city had 37,498 enterprises, branches and representative offices operating with a total registered capital of VND244,637 billion; 365 domestic investment projects outside industrial parks with a total investment capital of VND176,456 billion.
