Da Nang invests nearly 673 billion VND to upgrade and renovate March 29 Park

The renovation and upgrading project is based on the idea of ​​"Peace Ring" - won first prize in the Architectural Planning Adjustment Competition for March 29 Park (held in 2019) by StudioMilou Architecture Company (Singapore).

The total planned area of ​​the project is ^189,871m2 (nearly 19ha), with a total investment of nearly 673 billion VND. Construction is expected to be completed within 540 days (from March 29, 2025 to September 30, 2026).

Upgrade and renovation items include the "Peace Ring" building (construction area ^3,982m2 , 2 floors, 10.2m high); the entrance building from Nguyen Tri Phuong Street (construction area ^356m2 , 1 floor, 7m high); 3 public restrooms; 3 reinforced concrete boat docks, with composite wood flooring.

The landscape architecture category includes an outdoor playground and an artistic water fountain system; in which the artistic water fountain system is arranged on an elliptical area with a length of 80m, combining 7 different spray patterns at the same time.

In addition, there are related items such as internal traffic system, walking paths; water supply and drainage system; mechanical and electrical systems inside and outside the house; dredging the lake bed, moving trees, dismantling playground equipment, existing works and installing lighting systems, sound systems, air conditioning systems at the "Peace Ring" project; outdoor exercise equipment, children's playground equipment, etc.

According to the leaders of Da Nang City, March 29 Park was built after the liberation day. This is a project of special significance, contributing to improving the spiritual life of the people.

Although it has undergone several renovations and repairs, it has not yet met the needs and aspirations of the people; therefore, renovation and upgrading are necessary to turn this place into a relaxing space for the people and tourists. At the same time, March 29 Park will also be a green, quiet, peaceful, convenient and modern highlight in the center of Da Nang City.
