The book provides a rich source of documents and a system of scientific arguments guiding research, theoretical development, practical summary, education and training, fostering of cadres and education on the glorious heroic revolutionary tradition of the Vietnam People's Public Security force.
The Ministry of Public Security has just coordinated with the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission, the Central Party Office, and the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics to publish the book Absolute Loyalty to the Fatherland, the Party, the State and the People - Shining Revolutionary Policeman's Qualities by General Secretary To Lam.

This is a practical activity to celebrate the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 - February 3, 2025); towards the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam, now the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025), the 80th anniversary of the tradition of the People's Public Security Force (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025); contributing to promoting the successful implementation of the Resolution of the 13th National Congress and the Resolutions of the Central Executive Committee Conference of the Communist Party of Vietnam.
The book includes 80 articles, speeches, and interviews selected from more than 500 articles by the author, along with 71 photos vividly reflecting the visits and work at the Public Security units, localities, and grassroots areas of General Secretary To Lam during his time as Secretary of the Central Public Security Party Committee and Minister of Public Security.
Absolutely loyal to the Fatherland, the Party, the State and the People - Shining the qualities of a revolutionary police officer, demonstrating consistent thinking in creatively applying, developing and protecting Marxism-Leninism, Ho Chi Minh thought, the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws in the cause of protecting national security; ensuring social order and safety, building a truly clean, strong, disciplined, elite and modern People's Police force, closely linked to national defense and foreign affairs tasks, effectively serving the cause of economic - cultural - social development of the country; proactively and actively integrating internationally, building the great national unity bloc, constantly enhancing Vietnam's position and prestige in the international arena.
The book has great theoretical and practical value; it is a valuable document vividly reflecting the achievements and historical lessons of the Party in leading the cause of national construction and defense in general, protecting national security, and ensuring social order and safety in particular.
With profound explanations, the book has oriented the requirements, tasks, solutions and methods for the entire People's Public Security force and for Party committees and authorities at all levels to continue to lead and successfully implement the Party's policies on protecting security and order, closely combining with economic, cultural, social, national defense, military and foreign affairs development; building a people's heart posture, a people's security posture, a people's security foundation associated with a national defense posture, a national defense foundation; building an orderly and disciplined society, creating a secure, safe and healthy environment; encouraging, arousing patriotism, mobilizing the masses to proactively and actively participate in contributing to the cause of building and defending the Fatherland in the new era of development.

Content structure The book consists of 5 parts : Part 1 : The Communist Party of Vietnam leads the People's Public Security absolutely and directly in all aspects with 17 articles, reflecting the history and process in which our Party and the great President Ho Chi Minh established, trained, and led the People's Public Security absolutely and directly in all aspects. Part 2 : People's Police forget themselves for the country - Shining with the qualities of revolutionary police with 13 articles, demonstrating the great contribution of the People's Police force in the history of national liberation revolution. Part 3 : People's Public Security - The core and vanguard force protecting national security, ensuring social order and safety with 19 articles, clearly demonstrating the system of viewpoints, guiding ideology, the process of organization and implementation and results of all aspects of public security work. Part 4 : Serving the people, closely attached to the people - The source of strength of the People's Public Security with 12 articles, deeply analyzing Ho Chi Minh's thoughts on the role of the people and the close relationship between the People's Public Security and the people in the cause of ensuring security and order. Part five : Promoting the heroic revolutionary tradition, building a truly clean, strong, disciplined, elite, and modern People's Public Security force with 19 articles. |
