Mathematical Thinking Talent Competition

The contestants are team members and children who compete individually, divided into 6 groups including students in grades 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6.

Math Championship 2023 Final Picture 1 — The organizing committee launched the Math Championship 2023.

Online Preliminary Round: from September 18, 2023 to October 1, 2023; Semi-final Round: expected October 21-22, 2023; Final Round and Award Ceremony: expected November 5, 2023 (Hanoi) and November 12, 2023 (Ho Chi Minh City).

Contest content: Questions by topic: counting equidistantly, rules, geometry, counting shapes; Questions about quick calculation, mental calculation, operations, numerical thinking; Logical questions about problem solving.

After the Semi-final round, the Organizing Committee selected the 50 contestants with the highest results in each group to enter the Final round. The Final round will be held in person at the test site arranged by the Organizing Committee. Contestants entering the Final round will receive a certificate of participation in the competition from the Center for Youth Science and Technology Development. The award ceremony will be held the same day after the results of the Final round are announced.

The prize structure of each Competition Board includes: 1 First Prize: 3 million VND in cash, Scholarship, Gift in kind and Certificate of Merit from the program (total value of 20,000,000 VND); 1 Second Prize: 2 million VND in cash, Scholarship, Gift in kind and Certificate of Merit from the program (total value of 15,000,000 VND); 1 Third Prize: 1 million VND in cash, Scholarship, Gift in kind and Certificate of Merit from the program (total value of 10,000,000 VND); Encouragement Prize: for all children participating in the final round: Gift in kind and Certificate of the program.
