(NLDO)- On December 6, the delegation of the Ho Chi Minh City National Assembly Unit 10 and the delegation of the City People's Council met with voters in Hoc Mon and Cu Chi districts.
The delegation of National Assembly deputies includes Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Council Nguyen Thi Le and Major General Phan Van Xung, Political Commissar of the Ho Chi Minh City High Command, and deputies of the City People's Council in charge of units.
At the meeting with voters of Hoc Mon district, many voters expressed their hope that the district would soon have a plan to renovate and dredge the heavily polluted Tran Quang Co canal.
Conference to meet voters in Hoc Mon district
Voter Tran Thi Phuc, Xuan Thoi Thuong commune, requested the People's Council delegates to consider and propose the City consider and remove the mixed land planning so that people can change the purpose of building houses.
Voter Nguyen Thi Nga, Dong Thanh commune, expressed her agreement when the National Assembly, Party and Government showed their determination to "Streamline the political system" ahead of the 14th National Party Congress.
According to this voter, streamlining needs to be implemented synchronously from all levels of government to mass organizations and associations.

Voters in Hoc Mon district also asked National Assembly delegates to recommend reviewing the Law on Traffic Safety and Order to add the group of teenagers aged 16-18 to be allowed to learn to drive two-wheeled vehicles because currently they are tall and big, and can completely drive a motorbike instead of just driving like now without a driver's license.
At the meeting with voters of Cu Chi district that morning, many voters requested the city to pay attention to early compensation for people to speed up the construction progress of the project to upgrade and expand Provincial Road 8 to complete on time.
Voters in Cu Chi district propose to pay attention to the adjusted land price list because it is too high for people's income.
Voters also recommended that the city review the newly issued land price list because high land prices affect the application for land use change of suburban residents when dividing land for their children to live separately because the conversion cost is high while people's income is not high.

At two meetings with voters, on behalf of the delegation of National Assembly and Ho Chi Minh City People's Council, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee Nguyen Thi Le, received the opinions and contributions of voters and requested that any recommendations related to compensation, land acquisition, and land use planning that affect people's rights, departments, branches, and localities coordinate to resolve for the people and need to publicize information so that people can understand clearly.
"In the coming time, Ho Chi Minh City will focus on arranging and merging administrative agencies according to the Central Government's request to streamline the apparatus and promote higher efficiency in operation and management," Ms. Le informed.
