On the evening of March 25, Mr. Nguyen Quang Vinh - Acting Director of Dong Nai Hydropower Company, said that at 6:19 p.m. the same day, the company reached the milestone of 20 billion kWh of electricity output to the national grid, contributing significantly to the Electricity Generation Corporation 1 (EVNGENCO1) in providing electricity to serve the country's socio-economic development.

Over the past years, Dong Nai Hydropower Company has closely coordinated with the National Power System Control Center (A0) to safely and effectively manage and operate Dong Nai 3 and 4 Hydropower Plants, exploit and regulate reservoirs according to procedures, and promote digital transformation.

With 4 units with a total installed capacity of 520 MW and the ability to operate flexibly, in addition to providing a large amount of electricity to the national power system, the plant also plays an important role in adjusting frequency and voltage to balance the power system, especially in the context of renewable energy sources accounting for a large proportion as it does today.

Dong Nai Hydropower Company also plays an extremely important role in coordinating with hydropower reservoirs in the Dong Nai River basin to regulate reservoirs, ensure flood control during the rainy season and regulate drought control during the dry season for downstream areas.
