Thanh Hoa Electricity Company has just held a conference to deploy production and business tasks in 2024 in the fields of Engineering - Safety - Dispatch, Information Technology - Business - Electricity Services - Construction Investment.

The conference approved summary reports and thematic discussions on: Operational techniques; Business and customer service, inspection and supervision of electricity purchase and sale, electricity services; Telecommunications and Information Technology - Digital transformation.
Looking back at 2023, along with implementing the theme "Practicing thrift, fighting waste", this is also the year that the electricity industry in general and Thanh Hoa Power Company in particular continue to face numerous difficulties and challenges in the context of many fluctuations in the world's economic and political situation, extremely harsh weather, especially during the peak of the summer heat, leading to a shortage of electricity supply at times... From the attention, close direction and facilitation of the Northern Power Corporation, the very timely support of local Party committees and authorities, the collective leadership, cadres, workers and employees of Thanh Hoa Power Company always promote the spirit of solidarity, responsibility, strive to overcome difficulties, compete for good and creative labor, focus on synchronously implementing solutions to develop production and business right from the first months of the year, determined to complete the set targets and plans.
Accordingly, in 2023, the Company completed 70 investment projects to prevent overload, renovate, upgrade and modernize the power grid; completed 76 repair items... all of which ensured progress and quality of the project, promptly put into operation, and promoted investment efficiency. Conducted periodic testing combined with condition-based maintenance and based on level 2 equipment status for 8 substations and 21 110 kV lines, 29 intermediate substations, 1,752 distribution transformers and accompanying equipment; achieved 100% of the annual plan. Periodically replaced 216,574 single-phase electronic meters, equal to 227% of the plan, 18,085 three-phase electronic meters, equal to 136.8% of the assigned plan; 3,239 TI, equal to 145.8% of the plan and 172 TU, equal to 126.4% of the assigned plan.
Along with that, the unit has performed well in technical management and grid operation with 35 110kV substations, of which the assets of the Electricity Company are 24 substations (including 41 110kV substations) with a total capacity of 1,780MVA, an increase of 40MVA over the same period; 30 intermediate substations (49 35÷10kV substations) with a total capacity of 236.9MVA, an increase of 3.6MVA over the same period. 9,284 distribution substations 35÷10/0.4kV with a total capacity of 3,210MVA, an increase of 283 substations (164MVA) over the same period. 58 110kV lines with a total length of 1,031.18km, of which the assets of the Electricity Corporation are 51 lines with a total length of 832.26km, an increase of 76.44km compared to 2023; 251 medium voltage lines 10÷35KV with a total length of 7,371.52km, an increase of 52.1km compared to the same period. 12,745.91km of main low voltage lines, an increase of 102.21km compared to the same period. 656 Hotline electrical equipment repair sessions were carried out, reaching 130.16% of the assigned plan; 1,136 Hotline insulation cleaning sessions, reaching 126.22% of the assigned plan. Also in the year, 110kV grid incidents decreased by 1 incident, medium and low voltage incidents decreased by 116 incidents compared to 2022 and decreased by 111 incidents compared to the 2023 plan. Power supply reliability was improved. Safety in technical management and operation was ensured, no fire or explosion incidents, loss of assets and equipment occurred.
Also in 2023, the Company always focuses on improving the quality of business operations and customer services. By the end of 2023, the unit has ensured the supply of national grid electricity to 559/559 communes, wards and towns in the province with a total of 840,378 electricity purchase contracts (771,574 contracts for purchasing electricity for domestic use; 68,804 contracts for purchasing electricity for production, business and services), an increase of 14,524 contracts compared to 2022, reaching 99.8% of electricity demand.
Good implementation of business targets: commercial electricity reached 7,102.88 million kWh (including additional commercial electricity due to changing the index recording schedule of 62.141 million kWh), up 4.62% over the same period in 2022, completing 100.32% of the plan assigned by the Corporation; electricity loss (according to commercial cycle) was 4.15%, down 0.24% compared to 2022 and down 0.05% compared to the 2023 plan; average electricity selling price reached 1,799.22 VND/kWh, up 66.08 VND/kWh compared to 2022; electricity sales revenue reached 12,779.68 billion VND, up 8.61% compared to 2022, reaching 100.92% of the 2023 plan; The rate of non-cash electricity payment reached 95.23%, exceeding the plan by 2.05%, the rate of non-cash payment reached 98.89%...; the electricity access index was implemented in 3.3 days, a decrease of 1.7 days compared to the assigned plan; providing level 4 online electricity services reached 100%, being the leading unit in providing services on the National Public Service Portal in the locality...; promoting types of electricity services, revenue from implementation reached 116.4% of the plan and profit reached 105.6% of the plan assigned by the Corporation's ordinance. In 2023, the Company paid the local budget 129.8 billion VND, reaching 101% of the plan.
At the Conference, the Company's Board of Directors pointed out the existing limitations and shortcomings in some aspects of production and business activities in 2023, through direct exchange and discussion to analyze and discuss with the Company's departments and affiliated units to propose directions and solutions to overcome them in the coming time.
The focus is on reducing power loss, reducing incidents, improving power supply reliability, promoting the application of science and technology and grid automation; digital transformation tasks, exploiting data warehouses and solutions to increase the connection rate to the grid remote control center in 2024; solutions to effectively implement investment in construction, repair of the grid, ensuring power supply; optimizing capital sources in construction investment, production and business, cost control, internal supervision, preventing corruption and waste; solutions to consolidate and improve the effectiveness of protecting the safety of the grid corridor; electricity sales business, improving customer service quality and load forecasting as well as solutions to strive to complete the assigned electricity service targets of the year; The inspection and supervision of electricity trading needs to develop a plan and point out the difficulties and advantages in exploiting and analyzing data on software to localize and isolate the inspection subjects to reduce electricity loss and increase electricity prices; efficiency in managing and operating the electricity metering system, plans to increase the rate of remote measurement connection to the electronic metering system at the electricity service provider, improve customer satisfaction...
