Outstanding customers who actively cooperate with the Electricity industry in electricity supply in 2024 will be rewarded by the Northern Power Corporation.
By the end of 2024, PC Hoa Binh sold electricity to more than 274,000 customers. In recent years, the company has focused on investing in the construction, renovation and upgrading of the power grid system, contributing to improving the reliability of power supply across the province. To date, the province has 10 stations with 16 110kV transformers. The national power grid covers 100% of communes and households with electricity. Digital transformation has been promoted, load shifting and non-commercial load adjustment programs have been actively implemented, contributing to optimizing system operations. In addition, propaganda on economical and efficient use of electricity continues to be strengthened. In 2024, the total amount of electricity saved across the province will reach 41.14 million kWh.
Speaking at the conference, the leader of PC Hoa Binh affirmed that to achieve these results, the attention, sharing and companionship of customers play a very important role. The company always identifies "Customers are the center" and a companion in all production and business activities. Therefore, in recent times, the company has continuously modernized the power grid, strongly applied science and technology, improved operational capacity and customer service quality, aiming for the highest satisfaction of people and businesses.
PC Hoa Binh leaders informed that in 2025, the Northern power system is at risk of peak power shortage during peak hours, especially during severe heat waves from May to August. Faced with this challenge, the company is committed to mobilizing maximum resources, developing appropriate power supply plans, and striving to ensure stable and safe power supply for production and daily life needs of the people. At the same time, the company hopes to continue to receive attention, sharing and close cooperation from customers in using electricity economically and effectively.
At the conference, four customers representing organizations, businesses, and households discussed and shared their experiences and benefits when participating in energy-saving programs, especially during the hot season. The company also introduced modern and convenient electricity services, and encouraged customers to actively develop rooftop solar power systems in the direction of self-production and self-consumption, contributing to environmental protection and reducing pressure on the national power system.
On this occasion, the Northern Power Corporation commended and rewarded 10 outstanding customers who have made many contributions in coordinating with the Electricity industry to ensure safe and stable electricity supply in 2024.
