At the 2024 "Outstanding Enterprises for Workers" Program held at the end of June, Saigon - Central Beer Joint Stock Company was one of 10 outstanding enterprises nationwide proposed by the Organizing Committee to receive a certificate of merit from the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.
Mr. Tran Huu Phu - Chairman of the Trade Union of Saigon - Central Beer Joint Stock Company - said: "To achieve the above title, over the past time, Saigon - Central Beer Joint Stock Company has constantly made efforts to improve the working environment, care for the interests and improve the material and spiritual life of workers".
According to Mr. Phu, the company always has a welfare regime higher than the State's regulations, building harmonious and progressive labor relations. Currently, the unit has a total of 347 union members and workers.
"All of these people have signed labor contracts, paid insurance, and received welfare benefits according to current regulations. In particular, the average monthly salary each person receives is about 15.6 million VND," Mr. Phu added.
According to Mr. Phu, in addition to building a welfare regime for employees to feel secure in their work, the company also always encourages employees to have creative thinking. Thereby, the company implements a timely reward regime, increases profits, creates new values and increases personal income.
In 2023, the Company has 37 innovative topics and useful solutions that are considered for recognition and application. In addition, hundreds of employees are trained and retrained each year to meet assigned tasks.

"In the past 5 years, the unit has been one of the units with the highest budget contributions in Dak Lak province. In addition to the budget, the company also supports solving social security issues in the province. The lives and incomes of workers working at the factory are increasingly stable and better" - Mr. Dung affirmed.
Saigon - Central Beer Joint Stock Company currently has 4 member units in Dak Lak, Binh Dinh and Phu Yen provinces. In 2024, the Company strives to pay the State budget 1,170 billion VND. Of which, Dak Lak province alone is 762 billion VND and ensures that workers' income increases by 3 to 5% compared to 2023.
The “Outstanding Enterprises for Workers” Ranking Program is chaired by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, in coordination with the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs and the Vietnam Confederation of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) and assigned to Lao Dong Newspaper to implement since 2014.
The program selects and honors businesses that make continuous efforts to improve the working environment, care for the interests and improve the material and spiritual life of employees, have welfare regimes higher than those prescribed by the State, production and business activities always grow, tax obligations, social insurance (SI) are guaranteed to build harmonious and progressive labor relations, aiming for sustainable development in the process of integration and development.
Through the difficult time after the COVID-19 pandemic, the 67 enterprises honored in 2024 have many achievements in daring to think, daring to do, overcoming difficulties caused by the pandemic to produce and do business effectively; taking care of employees both during and after the pandemic, making efforts and persistently building harmonious, stable and progressive labor relations, being typical in taking care of the material and spiritual life of employees, towards sustainable development.
