Local police help people get back 140 million VND due to mistaken transfer

On March 24, the Quang Tho Commune Police, Quang Dien District and the Huong Phong Ward Police, Thuan Hoa District (Hue City) assisted a resident in receiving back 140 million VND that was mistakenly transferred.

Previously, Quang Tho Commune Police received information from Mr. Le Canh Quynh, residing in Quang Phuoc Commune (Quang Dien District) about mistakenly transferring 140 million VND to the account of Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Phuoc in Huong Phong Ward, Thuan Hoa District.

Upon receiving the report, Quang Tho Commune Police quickly verified the content of the incident. After being informed by the police about the bank account of Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Phuoc receiving 140 million VND mistakenly transferred by Mr. Le Canh Quynh, Mr. Phuoc voluntarily transferred the entire amount to the police agency to return to Mr. Quynh.

Receiving back a large amount of money that was accidentally transferred to the wrong account, Mr. Quynh respectfully wrote a letter of thanks to the officers and soldiers of Quang Tho Commune Police and Huong Phong Ward Police for their enthusiastic help in verifying the information and quickly assisting him in receiving back the money that was mistakenly transferred, and at the same time thanking Mr. Phuoc for his honesty.
