To find the world's most beautiful streets, prestigious British travel magazine Time Out contacted a team of professional editors and local contributors from around the globe, each of whom offered their opinion on the best streets in their city. Time Out then narrowed down the choices to create a definitive ranking of the most beautiful avenues and streets.

In the list of 30 most beautiful streets in the world, Quang An Street, Tay Ho, Hanoi is the representative of Vietnam, ranked 25th. The magazine describes, running along the eastern bank of West Lake (extending from the intersection of Tu Hoa Street and Xuan Dieu Street to the intersection with Quang Khanh Street), Quang An Street is the international, vibrant center of Hanoi.

New businesses have been popping up along the 1km stretch in recent years, transforming the lakeside promenade into a hub of cosy cafes, fashion boutiques and global cuisine. It’s just 5km north of Hanoi’s bustling Old Quarter – and while all the restaurants and famous nighttime flower markets make Quang An a lively place to be, its lakeside location gives it a peaceful feel that’s great for strolling.
