At the end of this morning's trading session (March 26), the VN-Index increased by 8.24 points to 1,276.10 points; the HNX-Index increased by 0.45 points to 241.26 points. Only VND shares of VNDIRECT Securities Company were still in red.
As of noon on March 26, VNDIRECT's system still cannot operate again.
At one point, VND shares plunged more than 5% before increased buying helped to narrow the decline. However, the trading volume of VND shares remained very high. At the end of the morning session, nearly 59 million shares were successfully traded and the stock stood at VND23,200, down VND750, or 3.13%. Among the investors selling, foreign trading orders also increased. Meanwhile, the liquidity of the stock market was low, reaching more than VND11,000 billion at the end of the morning session.
Yesterday's session (March 25), VND shares also had a huge trading volume with nearly 86.3 million units traded, 3 times higher than the average trading volume per session within a year. This is the second highest liquidity trading session of VNDIRECT shares (only after the session on July 6, 2023 with a volume of more than 105 million VND shares traded)

Regarding the cyber attack on the system from 10am on March 24, up to now, VNDIRECT has not been able to fix it and investors are still unable to connect and trade stocks. This company has been coordinating with technology experts from corporations such as FPT, Viettel, BKAV... to handle the situation.
Some VNDIRECT brokers sent private information to customers saying that today, the company has started to gradually turn on some internal platforms and some basic services, but it is expected to take more time to fully restore due to the large amount of data. The company is also preparing plans to have policies to support customers in the past and upcoming periods.
In this morning's trading session, the securities stocks group also differentiated strongly. In the group that increased in price, there were many blue-chip codes of this industry such as SSI, VCI, MBS, HCM, FTS, CTS, BSI, CSI... while the group that decreased below the reference was mostly small-cap such as BMS, DCS, SBS, TVS, VFS, VIG...
