On the morning of July 3, continuing the 17th session, the Hanoi People's Council conducted a question-and-answer session on two groups of issues: Implementing discipline, order, and responsibility in performing public duties at state agencies of the city and vocational training and job creation in the area.

However, there are still opinions and recommendations from voters reflecting that discipline and order in the performance of public duties in some localities and units are not high and strict.

"In some places, there are situations of avoidance, pushing away work, lack of responsibility, showing a mentality of retreat, fear of mistakes, and fear of responsibility," said Mr. Tuan.

According to him, this is what causes many tasks directed by the city to be behind schedule and of poor quality. Some cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers still violate and do not seriously comply with discipline, order, rules, regulations, and task assignments of agencies and units.

"This is an important and urgent issue that the Standing Committee and the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee are focusing on leading and directing, and needs to be questioned by the City People's Council to review and correctly assess the advantages, shortcomings, and limitations, clearly identify the causes, responsibilities, and roadmap and solutions for timely correction and overcoming," Mr. Tuan emphasized.

Vocational training, social security

Regarding vocational training and job creation, the Chairman of the Hanoi People's Council said that this is a very important issue in the development process of Hanoi - a city with a large area, large population, high urbanization rate and is in the process of development.
