The conference brought together more than 200 leading scientists and experts in the field of biomedicine from Italy, Australia, Japan, Korea, Lithuania... and domestic scientists, sharing the latest research and discussing important issues related to human and animal health.
The theme “Biomedicine for One Health” emphasized the importance of connecting human, animal and environmental health in the context of globalization and climate change. Awarding the honorary certificate of outstanding scientific and technological intellectual in 2024 of the Union of Science and Technology Associations of Thua Thien - Hue province to Professor Pier Luigi Fiori (University of Sassari, Italy)
Within the framework of the opening program, Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy held a ceremony to award master's degrees in biomedical technology to the 7th and 8th courses, under the joint training program between Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy and Sassari University (Italy).
At the same time, honoring Professor Pier Luigi Fiori (University of Sassari, Italy), a typical scientific and technological intellectual in 2024 of the Union of Science and Technology Associations of Thua Thien - Hue province for his many contributions to cooperation in education, training and healthcare at the University of Medicine and Pharmacy.
On this occasion, the Institute of Biomedical Sciences, University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University was also inaugurated.

Hue Science Festival 2024 also has a series of activities such as the launching ceremony of the project on "Towards reducing the number of malnutrition cases in children under 5 years old by guiding ethnic minority women in Thua Thien - Hue province" supported by the Embassy of Ireland (taking place on October 12); the forum "Trans-Asia Communication Rehabilitation" (December 14 - 15) summarizing the speech therapy project; the Healthfair (December 20 - 21, at the square in front of Quoc Hoc High School for the Gifted in Hue), the workshop "Developing international cooperation projects" (December 11).
Hue Science Festival 2024 ended on December 20 with a conference to summarize science and technology in the period 2019 - 2024 and build a science and technology development strategy for the period 2025 - 2029 of the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University.
