Other highlights of this year's gift bag include a private in-home show by a local magician, a DNA test kit that includes details about the nominee's history with a genealogist, and a coat for a pet dog that's upcycled from designer clothes.

“This is California and it’s been a stressful week for a lot of them. So we have four different options for them,” Fary added, pointing to rose gold pens, gummies, pre-rolled cigarettes and margarita powder.

Most of the nominees will not receive the prestigious Oscar statuette, but they can console themselves with a 4-night stay at a Maldives villa ($23,000), 5-night stay at a health resort in Sri Lanka ($8,500), and 5-night stay at a 5-star hotel in Barcelona ($several thousand dollars).
