Chung Huu Phuc (born in 2022), has heart disease and had surgery to treat complete atrioventricular canal in February 2025. After surgery, the heart valve will continue to be monitored and regular monthly check-ups will be performed to monitor the recovery after surgery. Phuc's family is poor, lives in a rented house and is unable to pay for treatment.
Pham Thi Truc Mai (born in 2019) was diagnosed with moderate mental retardation, discovered at the age of 3. The doctor ordered a thorough examination to find out the disease in order to have appropriate treatment and improve her health. However, her family is in difficult circumstances, living in a rented house, and has no money for her treatment.
Nguyen Ngoc Phuong Nghi was born (in 2016), has bilateral parotid gland tumors, blood infection, discovered in 2024. Currently, the baby's condition is getting worse, with bone marrow failure requiring regular dialysis. The cost of re-examination and medicine is about 17 million VND/time, the cost of bone marrow transplant is about 1.5 billion VND, but the family is in difficult circumstances, unable to afford treatment for the baby.
The delegation presented 15 million VND in support to Chung Huu Phuc, 15 million VND to Pham Thi Truc Mai and 20 million VND to Nguyen Ngoc Phuong Nghi. On this occasion, local authorities, actress Thuy Muoi and philanthropists presented gifts to 3 families to help them better care for the children.
