NDO – On the evening of August 25, at the Hanoi Opera House, the Communist Magazine, the Ministry of Public Security coordinated with the Hanoi Party Committee – People’s Council – People’s Committee and Nhan Dan Newspaper to organize the art exchange program “Sao Doc Lap” 2024 to celebrate the 79th anniversary of the August Revolution, National Day September 2 and the 79th anniversary of the People’s Public Security Force’s Traditional Day.

The 2024 Sao Doc Lap political art program has the theme "Uncle Ho's words - The words of the country". This is also the 9th year the program has been organized.

Over the years, “Independence Star” has become an annual program (starting in 2016), awaited by many veteran revolutionaries, intellectuals, party members and the masses during the autumn days of August. With unique artistic content, it depicts the noble cultural and historical values ​​of patriotism and the indomitable will of many generations of heroic Vietnamese people in the struggle, construction and protection of the independence of the Fatherland under the leadership of the glorious Communist Party of Vietnam.

The program recalls the heroic memories of the nation, the glorious pages of history written with blood and bones, with the sacrifices and struggles of our entire Party, army and people, represented by the shining examples of revolutionary predecessors, Heroes of the People's Armed Forces on all fronts.

The highlight of the “Opening Speech” was the invaluable documents quoted from 236 articles by the late General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong published in the Communist Magazine, spread from the capital Hanoi – “the heart of the whole country” to the city named after Uncle Ho; from the northern mountainous region to the Central region, the Central Highlands; from the Truong Son mountain range to Hoang Sa, Truong Sa, the sea and sky of the Fatherland.

Everywhere on the land of Vietnam, there still remains the warmth of philosophical lines flowing from the humane heart, the great thoughts of the sages passing on the aspiration for independence, freedom, and eternal happiness to the people and to the country of Vietnam.

Next, the audience was immersed in Chapter I ( The Fatherland Calls My Name ) and Chapter II ( Legendary Epic ). The audience was immediately captivated by the Grand Opera where the image of President Ho Chi Minh - the great leader of the Party and the nation was recreated with unique artistic materials. He always saw through and promoted the strength of great national unity along with the heroic and indomitable spirit to bring our country's revolution to great achievements.

The Public Security Force, since its early days, has been directly educated, trained and instructed by Uncle Ho. The eight guards who lived day and night with Uncle Ho: Truong, Ky, Khang, Chien, Nhat, Dinh, Thang and Loi are the predecessors of the Guard Force; the Security Force has grown up with the history of the struggle for national liberation and unification, creating a generation of heroes who stood up and sacrificed themselves for a great cause.
