Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay Expressway

The Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay Expressway construction project, invested by VEC, was completed and put into operation in 2014.

VEC's expressway investment projects (including the Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay project) have been approved by the competent authority, the Ministry of Transport (now the Ministry of Construction), with a financial plan for 5 expressway projects in Decision No. 2323/QD-BGTVT dated December 31, 2021, which stipulates the collection level, price increase roadmap (3 years/time) and increase rate (12%/time) to ensure project investment efficiency and ensure the ability to repay investment loans.

Therefore, to ensure production and business goals, project efficiency and ensure the ability to repay project investment loans, in accordance with Decision No. 2323/QD-BGTVT dated December 31, 2021, VEC plans to adjust service prices for the Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay route.

Price adjustment

The service price for using the Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay Expressway has been adjusted from VND2,100/PCU/km to VND2,240/PCU/km, corresponding to an increase of 7%. This price includes value added tax (VAT) according to current regulations.

Vehicles subject to fees are classified according to the provisions of Decree 130/2024/ND-CP dated October 10, 2024 of the Government regulating the collection of highway usage fees for vehicles traveling on expressways owned by the entire people and directly managed and operated by the State.

VEC said it will publicly announce the adjustment of service prices before applying the new prices.
