On October 9, on the occasion of the Vietnamese Entrepreneurs Day October 13, Comrade Bui Van Quang - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee came to congratulate Lam Thao Superphosphate and Chemical Joint Stock Company, BYD Vietnam Electronics Co., Ltd., HangYang Digitech Vina Co., Ltd., Viet Tri Paper Joint Stock Company.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Bui Van Quang delivered a congratulatory speech on Vietnamese Entrepreneurs' Day at Lam Thao Superphosphate and Chemical Joint Stock Company.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee affirmed: The local Party Committee and government will always accompany, create conditions, support, and promptly resolve difficulties and obstacles so that businesses and entrepreneurs can feel secure and develop steadily. At the same time, he hopes that businesses and entrepreneurs will continue to unite, overcome difficulties, stabilize and develop production and business, playing a core role in bringing Phu Tho's economy to develop quickly and sustainably.

Visiting and congratulating Lam Thao Superphosphate and Chemical Joint Stock Company, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Bui Van Quang acknowledged the important contributions of the Company to the development of the province in particular and the country's agriculture in general in the past time and wished the Company to continue to promote its achievements, strive to overcome difficulties, and rise up to achieve many new successes. In particular, enhancing innovation and creativity; updating the trend of green transformation, digital transformation, expanding production scale, exporting, and launching many new products.

Taking note of the Company's recommendations and proposals regarding the plan to transfer Supe Kindergarten to local management, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the leaders of Lam Thao district to continue to pay attention and prioritize recruitment of education officials for the school's teachers. Regarding the proposal to speed up the handover of the 110kV power line, the 110kV E4.2 transformer station and the railway line from the Company to the National Railway, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the Company to report to the State Capital Management Committee at Enterprises, the Vietnam Chemical Group; Phu Tho province will direct relevant departments, branches, and Lam Thao district to provide maximum support to the Company in the process of transferring the above two assets.

At BYD Vietnam Electronics Co., Ltd. in Phu Ha Industrial Park, Phu Tho town, reporting to the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and the Working Group, Mr. LEO SU - Director of the Company said: After 3 years since choosing Phu Tho as the location for the factory, BYD has always received the attention and effective support of Phu Tho province. Currently, BYD Vietnam has over 11,000 employees, expected to reach revenue of 2.8 billion USD in 2024, import-export turnover of 4.5 billion USD. By the end of July 2024, BYD Vietnam's output reached 10 million Ipads, striving to reach 15 million Ipads by June 2025, while expanding the production of flycam products, robots..., bringing the total number of employees of the Company to over 15,000 people.

Congratulating the achievements of BYD Electronics Vietnam Co., Ltd., especially in production and business activities and taking care of workers' lives, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee believes that the Company will continue to develop, truly become one of the large enterprises, contributing positively to the development of the province. He affirmed that Phu Tho province will continue to review, adjust and simplify the process of adjusting the Investment Registration Certificate (IRC) for enterprises; continue to have policies to attract talents and support enterprises in recruiting workers.

Regarding the proposal on supporting the construction of houses for experts, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee assigned relevant departments, branches, Phu Tho town, the Provincial Industrial Park Management Board and Phu Ha Industrial Park Management Board to closely coordinate, speed up the planning progress, allocate land to build worker dormitories and housing areas for experts, creating the most favorable conditions for businesses and entrepreneurs investing in Phu Tho to confidently develop production.

Visiting and congratulating HangYang Digitech Vina Co., Ltd., a Korean enterprise manufacturing and processing memory modules for servers and personal computers, manufacturing and processing SSD hard drives operating in Phu Ha Industrial Park since 2019 with over 1,700 officers and employees, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Bui Van Quang acknowledged the results that the Company has achieved, affirming that Phu Tho province always recognizes and considers foreign enterprises and businessmen working in Phu Tho province as Phu Tho people.

From the import-export turnover of 1.1 billion USD in 2019, increasing to 13.4 billion USD in 2024 shows the remarkable development of the Company, contributing significantly to Phu Tho continuing to be in the top 10 provinces and cities with high import-export growth in the country. He wished the Company's leadership, officers and employees to continue to be united, dynamic and creative in production and business; continue to pay attention to local social security activities as well as take care of the lives of workers.

Visiting and congratulating Viet Tri Paper Joint Stock Company, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Bui Van Quang was pleased that the Company has focused on investing in the future and achieved many positive results, the output from 100,000 tons in 2020 has increased by one and a half times in 2023, expected to reach 158,000 tons by the end of 2024, with revenue of over 1,700 billion VND.

Notably, from the old production line using environmentally polluting bleaching technology, the Company has switched to using recycled and imported materials, and at the same time switched from burning coal to burning by-products of the wood processing industry, helping to minimize the harmful effects of carbon emissions and take advantage of discarded materials from wood processing facilities in and outside the province.

At the same time, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also thanked the Company for its important contributions to the socio-economic development, actively participating in charity work and social security of the locality, and hoped that the Company would continue to promote the tradition of being the leading child, the cradle of the Vietnamese Paper industry, where Uncle Ho visited; firmly implementing the development strategy and affirming the Viet Tri Paper brand in the domestic and international markets.

At the visit and congratulations on the occasion of Vietnamese Entrepreneurs' Day, business leaders affirmed that they will continue to make efforts and innovate management, production and business organization, develop their businesses further, continue to make worthy contributions, and promote local socio-economic development.
