On the morning of March 18, the National Assembly delegation led by Comrade Tran Thanh Man, Politburo member and National Assembly Chairman, visited and worked in Tuyen Quang province.

Speaking at the meeting, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Ha Thi Nga welcomed the visit and work of National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man and the working delegation in Tuyen Quang province. She gave an overview of the socio-economic development situation in the province. She requested the National Assembly Chairman and the working delegation to consider creating favorable conditions for Tuyen Quang province to soon approve the Project "Building Tuyen Quang into a high-tech forestry zone and a center for wood production and processing", so that the province can be proactive in organizing implementation; pay attention and help to support the province early from the central budget for the period 2021-2025 and 2025 to arrange additional funding for the Tuyen Quang - Ha Giang Expressway Project. At the same time, support capital for the province from the central budget to invest in completing phase 02 with a scale of 4 lanes, 77km long of the entire route, to best promote the effectiveness of the project, avoiding waste.

The working delegation was interested in and gave opinions to relevant agencies to add to the Power Plan VIII for Tuyen Quang province to implement a number of projects; continue to pay attention to and support State budget capital to invest in inter-regional routes; Project to establish a plan to preserve, embellish and promote the value of the special national scenic spot of Na Hang - Lam Binh Nature Reserve, Na Hang district and Lam Binh district, Tuyen Quang province associated with tourism development until 2030, with a vision to 2050...

Propose that the Working Group and the Ministry of Finance synthesize and report to the Government and the Prime Minister for Tuyen Quang province to implement the use of capital from the Socio-Economic Recovery and Development Program and some other recommendations.

At the meeting, delegates and leaders of central ministries and branches had many opinions to help Tuyen Quang orient its planning of socio-economic development policies and strategies in the coming period. At the same time, delegates also answered some of the province's recommendations.

At the National Assembly Standing Committee Relic Site, Trung Yen Commune (Son Duong), the residence and workplace of the National Assembly Standing Committee of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam from 1952 to 1954, the delegation offered incense to commemorate President Ton Duc Thang; visited and surveyed the project to preserve and restore the National Assembly Standing Committee Relic Site. Here, the delegation presented gifts to 20 policy families and disadvantaged households in Trung Yen Commune.

The delegation inspected the progress at the construction site of the road investment project from Son Duong town to Tan Trao National Special Relic Site. This is an important project in connecting traffic and promoting local economic and tourism development.
