President presents 2 gifts to meritorious people on July 27

According to Decision No. 715/QD-CTN just issued by the President on giving gifts to people with meritorious services, on the occasion of the 76th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day, the level of gifts for people with meritorious services will remain the same as in 2022 at 2 levels.

Specifically, the gift of 600,000 VND is given to 4 groups of people with revolutionary contributions, including: Vietnamese heroic mothers who are receiving monthly preferential allowances.

War invalids, people enjoying policies like war invalids, war invalids of type B, sick soldiers with a reduced working capacity of 81% or more who are receiving monthly preferential allowances.

Resistance fighters infected with toxic chemicals with a body injury rate of 81% or more are receiving monthly preferential allowances; relatives of martyrs are receiving monthly survivor allowances.

Relatives of two or more martyrs are receiving monthly survivor benefits.

The gift of 300,000 VND is given to 4 other groups of meritorious people, including: War invalids, people enjoying policies like war invalids, war invalids of type B, sick soldiers with a body injury rate of 80% or less who are receiving monthly preferential allowances.

War invalids are enjoying disability benefits.

Resistance fighters infected with toxic chemicals with a body injury rate of 80% or less are receiving monthly preferential allowances.

Representative of martyr's relatives, martyr worshipers (in case the martyr has no relatives).

Previously, the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs submitted a document to the Prime Minister on submitting to the President to give gifts to 8 groups of people with meritorious services on the occasion of the 76th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day. Accordingly, there are 8 groups of people with meritorious services to the revolution.

The estimated budget for giving gifts to 1.4 million meritorious people on this occasion is more than 427 billion VND.

Every year, on July 27, the Prime Minister authorizes the Minister of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs to submit to the President a decision to give gifts to people with revolutionary contributions.
