On September 3, authorities in Binh Dinh province said they were investigating the cause of the accident that left one person dead and one seriously injured.
Accident scene left 1 person dead on the spot
Accordingly, on the same day, Mr. Tran Dinh Vinh (53 years old, residing in Phu Thien District, Gia Lai) drove a motorbike with license plate 81D1 - 258.77 carrying his wife, Ms. Nguyen Thi L. (43 years old) from Gia Lai to Binh Dinh.
Mr. Vinh's car was running on National Highway 19, from Tay Son District to Tuy Phuoc District, when it reached Nhon Hoa Ward, An Nhon Town (also in Binh Dinh), at around 8:00 a.m., it collided with a tractor trailer with license plate 77H - 040.30 driven by Mr. Nguyen Van Nhut (49 years old, residing in Phu Phong Town, Tay Son District, Binh Dinh), running in the same direction.
The accident left Ms. Nguyen Thi L. dead on the spot, and Mr. Tran Dinh Vinh seriously injured.
Immediately after receiving the people's report about the accident, the authorities arrived at the scene to take Mr. Tran Dinh Vinh to the emergency room, examine the scene and bring the body of Ms. Nguyen Thi L. back to Gia Lai.
