Recently, motorcycle company TVS Motor launched a new variant of the Raider 125cc motorcycle line, Raider 125, in the Indian market.

With this new addition, the TVS Raider 125 is now available in three variants: Single Seat, Split Seat, and SmartXonnect. All variants get a single headlamp with integrated LED DRLs, body-coloured headlamp cowl, dual-tone front fender, 10-litre fuel tank, engine cowl, side steps, and a side exhaust with a dual-tone finish.

As the name suggests, the single seat version comes with a one-piece seat, while the remaining variants get a split-style setup.

The TVS Raider 125 single-seat and split-seat variants use an inverted LCD display, while the SmartXonnect version comes with a Bluetooth-enabled TFT display.

The complete TVS Raider 125 uses a 124.8cc, air/oil-cooled, single-cylinder, three-valve engine. Mated to a 5-speed gearbox, the engine produces 11.2bhp at 7,500rpm. Suspension duties are handled by telescopic front forks and a preload-adjustable monoshock at the rear.

Although this power is not equal to Yamaha Exciter or Honda Winner X, it can still fully meet the daily travel needs in crowded cities.

In terms of price, the base TVS Raider 125 variant is priced at Rs 93,719 while the Split Seat and SmartXonnect versions are priced at Rs 94,719 and Rs 100,820 respectively.

This could be an attractive price to conquer all demanding customers of manual transmission motorbikes.
