Gasoline prices have reversed and decreased sharply since 3:00 p.m. today, April 10.

Specifically, E5RON92 gasoline: no higher than VND 18,882/liter (down VND 1,491/liter compared to the current base price), lower than RON95-III gasoline by VND 325/liter; RON95-III gasoline: no higher than VND 19,207/liter (down VND 1,712/liter compared to the current base price); 0.05S diesel: no higher than VND 17,243/liter (down VND 1,235/liter compared to the current base price); kerosene: no higher than VND 17,413/liter (down VND 1,322/liter compared to the current base price); 180CST 3.5S fuel oil: no higher than VND 15,902/kg (down VND 1,124/kg compared to the current base price).

In this operating period, the management agency does not set aside or use the Petroleum Price Stabilization Fund for E5RON92 gasoline, RON95 gasoline, diesel oil, kerosene, and fuel oil.

According to the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the world oil market in this management period (from April 3, 2025 to April 9, 2025) is affected by major factors such as: the US announced high tariffs on goods from a series of trading partners, US crude oil inventories increased, the military conflict between Russia and Ukraine continues... The above factors have caused world oil prices to drop sharply in recent days.

The average price of finished petroleum products in the world between the price adjustment period of April 3, 2025 and the adjustment period of April 10, 2025 is: 74.184 USD/barrel of RON92 gasoline used to blend E5RON92 gasoline (down 8.939 USD/barrel, equivalent to a decrease of 10.75%); 75.334 USD/barrel of RON95 gasoline (down 9.531 USD/barrel, equivalent to a decrease of 11.23%); 79.720 USD/barrel of kerosene (down 7.740 USD/barrel, equivalent to a decrease of 8.85%); 79.484 USD/barrel of 0.05S diesel oil (down 7.714 USD/barrel, equivalent to a decrease of 8.85%); 419,528 USD/ton of 180CST 3.5S fuel oil (down 44,187 USD/ton, equivalent to a decrease of 9.53%).

In this management period, in response to the above-mentioned developments in world oil prices, fluctuations in the VND/USD exchange rate and current regulations, the Ministry of Industry and Trade - Ministry of Finance decided on a plan to manage oil prices to ensure that domestic oil price fluctuations are consistent with world oil price fluctuations; continue to maintain the price difference between E5RON92 biofuel and RON95 mineral gasoline at a reasonable level to encourage the use of biofuels according to the Government's policy; ensure the harmony of interests among market participants.

The adjusted selling price of petroleum products is determined by the petroleum wholesaler and petroleum distributor, but no later than 3:00 p.m. on April 10, 2025.
