Chelsea agree to sell Havertz to Arsenal

Arsenal have reached an agreement to sign striker Kai Havertz from Chelsea for a transfer fee of $83 million.

Arsenal will pay $79 million up front, and the remaining four million will be paid later based on the agreement in the contract. Havertz will be Arsenal's first new signing in the summer of 2023, and the second most expensive player to join the team, after Nicolas Pepe with a transfer fee of 87 million USD in the 2019-2020 season.
