At around 7pm on June 16, a house fire broke out on Dinh Cong Ha Street. The house was engulfed in flames, with black smoke billowing high. It was raining heavily at the time.
When discovering the fire, people quickly shouted, used on-site fire fighting equipment, and reported it to the authorities.
However, the house that caught fire was 6 stories high, had an attic, sold electrical appliances, and had many plastic appliances. The balcony had a "tiger cage" making it difficult to put out the fire.

Upon receiving the news, Hoang Mai District Police dispatched 4 fire trucks and many fire prevention and fighting and rescue officers and soldiers to the scene.
By 7:30 p.m., the fire had engulfed the fifth and sixth floors of the building. There were loud explosions as firefighters worked. Two ambulances were dispatched to the scene.
Witnesses said there were people trapped inside the burning house.
Currently, the police are still actively rescuing victims, so there are no statistics on human and property damage.
