Blocked 19 subjects traveling by bus from Dong Nai to Binh Thuan to resolve conflicts

Police forces of two districts in Binh Thuan province have just coordinated to promptly stop a group of people carrying weapons, traveling on a passenger bus from Dong Nai through the area with the purpose of resolving a seafood trading conflict.

On October 24, Binh Thuan Provincial Police said that La Gi Town Police had coordinated with Ham Tan District Police to promptly stop a group of 19 people from traveling by bus from Dong Nai to La Gi Town, carrying weapons to resolve a conflict.

Earlier on the morning of October 23, through patrolling and understanding the local situation, La Gi Town Police recorded information that a group of subjects residing in Dong Nai province were preparing to go to Ba Dang area, Tan Hai commune (La Gi town) to fight with some local subjects.

Immediately afterwards, the police mobilized 100% of officers and soldiers to patrol and control the routes in and out of the area, especially in the Ba Dang area.

At around 8:30 p.m. the same day, La Gi Town Police coordinated with Ham Tan District Police to discover a suspicious passenger car with license plate 60B-057.xx traveling from Ham Tan District to La Gi Town, so they asked to stop the vehicle for inspection.

Here, the authorities discovered 19 young men sitting in the car, along with a number of weapons and pepper spray.

Afterwards, La Gi town police brought the above subjects, vehicles and evidence to headquarters to verify and clarify the motive.

Initially, the subjects confessed that due to a conflict in seafood trading in the coastal area of Ba Dang - Tan Hai - La Gi, the subjects came from Dong Nai to La Gi town to resolve the matter.

80 police officers stopped a group of revving revving motorbikes on the highway, temporarily impounding 46 motorbikes.

From the people's report, 80 officers and soldiers were mobilized to prevent a group of teenagers from gathering to rev their engines, causing disorder on National Highway 1A, through Tan Nghia town, Ham Tan district (Binh Thuan province).
