Cao Xa 2 Kindergarten has been invested in and built spaciously, contributing to improving the quality of child care and education.
On the basis of maintaining the achieved results, the People's Committee of the commune continues to lead, direct and flexibly apply the mechanisms and policies of the superiors according to the motto of relying mainly on the internal strength of the residential community, taking advantage of support from the State budget and contributions from the people to invest in building infrastructure. Thanks to that, last May, Cao Xa commune was recognized by the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee as meeting the model new rural standards in the field of education.
Selected as an outstanding field in building a model new rural commune, Cao Xa therefore clearly identifies the education and training career as belonging to all people, mobilizing all resources to invest in building facilities to meet teaching and learning needs such as: Building new classrooms, administration buildings, multi-purpose buildings, renovating, repairing and upgrading classrooms, functional rooms and some auxiliary items...
In the 2022-2023 school year, nearly 60 billion VND mobilized from various sources has been prioritized for investment in education. Visiting Cao Xa 2 Kindergarten - a school with a history of more than 60 years, we felt a clear change in appearance as well as the quality of care and education for children here.
Taking us to visit the classrooms and the administration building, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Lien - Principal of the school shared: “The staff and teachers of the school are proud because this is the first national standard kindergarten in the province in 2002. Starting with difficult and lacking facilities, up to now, the school's construction items have been invested synchronously, spacious with full classrooms and functional rooms, green - clean - beautiful campus. The quality of education and child care is getting better and better. Therefore, the school is honored to receive a Certificate of Merit from the Provincial People's Committee 3 times".
Along with the investment funds for infrastructure from the State budget, the locality and schools have done a good job of socializing education, mobilizing support for the construction of spacious infrastructure, investing in equipment for modern teaching and learning, serving well for the innovation of teaching and learning methods, improving the quality of education. Up to now, 4 schools in the commune have met the National standard level 2.
The implementation of the Model New Rural Commune Construction Program has created a strong change in the awareness of all classes of people when people have promoted their role as the main subject, making Cao Xa a livable countryside. Thereby, each person actively contributes to local construction, transforming production methods, especially agricultural production towards specialization and commodity production. The rural economy has shifted in a positive direction, people's income has improved significantly.
The whole commune currently has 15 farm models and households operating effectively in production and business, including a pig farm with a scale of 300-500 pigs, a farm raising 10,000 chickens and 13 aquaculture farms... The People's Committee of the commune creates favorable conditions for land, planning livestock areas far from residential areas, creating favorable conditions for loan procedures, leasing public land for households to develop the economy, forming concentrated farms and households.
Along with agricultural production, industrial production, small-scale industry, trade and service activities are also focused on development. Total income from trade and service activities, industry, small-scale industry and rural occupations in 2023 reached 455 billion VND. Up to now, the average income of people in the commune has reached about 58 million VND/person/year.
Mr. Cao Tien Cong's family's semi-automatic egg-laying chicken farm in Zone 1 has a scale of tens of thousands of chickens, deducting expenses, earning nearly 1 billion VND in profit each year.
The quality of life has been improved, people have responded enthusiastically, joined hands, and contributed funds to the cause of education, health, culture, physical training and sports; actively invested in building houses, gates, fences, campuses, etc. Thanks to that, the appearance of the commune has changed significantly. Historical and cultural relics, spiritual and religious works have been restored and digitized with socialized resources, contributing to stabilizing the spiritual life of the people. The construction of new rural areas has become a competitive movement between units and residential areas, bringing practical benefits, creating motivation, confidence, and excitement among the people. Thanks to that, 10/15 residential areas have achieved the title of model new-style rural residential area, and area 5 alone has achieved the title of smart residential area.
Sharing the secret to completing the construction of a model new-style rural commune, comrade Ta Tien Dung - Vice Chairman of Cao Xa Commune People's Committee said: "First of all, it is thanks to the solidarity, consensus, and joint efforts of the Party Committee, the government, the Fatherland Front, organizations and people in the commune responding to the emulation movements to build new-style rural areas. When implementing, it is necessary to carry out all criteria simultaneously and synchronously, inheriting and integrating programs, projects and campaigns, emulation movements among the masses according to the motto of relying mainly on the internal strength of the community, with partial support from the State budget, at the same time encouraging economic sectors to participate and must ensure the motto: People know, people discuss, people do, people inspect and people benefit".
