Beware of the scam impersonating 'Semester in the Army' to scam

Recently, some parents contacted the Provincial Youth Union to report the incident, there was a group of people texting via phone number, zalo, facebook to invite them to participate in the "Semester in the Army" Program in 2025.

The subjects claiming to be from the Quang Tri Provincial Military Command and the Quang Tri Provincial Youth Union are planning to organize the above program this coming summer. These social networking sites also offer a discount policy for early registration, with fees starting at 3.7 million VND.

However, the leader of the Quang Tri Provincial Youth Union affirmed that currently the unit and the Provincial Military Command have no plans to implement the "Semester in the Army" Program due to many objective reasons. At the same time, it is recommended that parents carefully research information from official organizing units to avoid being scammed.

Official information about the above program will be announced on the website and Facebook fanpage of the Provincial Youth Union. If signs of fraud are detected, people should immediately report to the police or the Provincial Youth Union for support.
